4l80e physically will not fit, thats why so excited about new 6l80e as is DOES fit c6!!!!!
and its got the extra gears that u want!! 
EG my car makes so much power that it is ill advised to shift into 4th under WOT. tranny will smoke the 4th gear band...period end of story.

So who do we have to bribe/threaten/ransom to get the 6L80E TCU conversion/translation done???

A little of topic but I did test drive C6 with above mentions trans, not too shabby although I’m M6 fan. It should make for good 1/4 mile cars if it’s as strong as advertised.

dale cherry will be helping me install and electronics. i cannot, at this time tell you the guy that will be making the tcu unit.

Even if this was completely manual with a paddle shift I would be interested in it. 
I believe first is gear is 4.02:1 :devil:
First 4.02:1 Second 2.36:1 Third 1.53:1 Fourth 1.15:1 Fifth 0.85:1

Per their FAQ, "These components are of such quality that the same unit we sell for an RV or Truck goes to Drag Racers with 1200+ horsepower."
I've been
on the gear vendors setup for a couple years now, but it doesn't seen like many people are getting them. But then again, it is pricey.

See how many takers at lets say $3K (probalbly what a 6 spd. auto upgrade would go for). When that comes out, then no one will have reason to look at the gear vendors setup.

Yank has spoken to us about making driveshafts for a 4l80e convertion, they are about a month or two away from being ready to go. But dont expect a cheap price tag, there is a ton of work and R&D to make it go. Plus even if it is 7k, for high hp guys that a bucket out of the ocean and it only takes a few $2,500 broken trans' to get you there anyway.
