so lets think about this for a moment, if your serouis about getting one we need to hit up all the salvage yards that specialize in late models.
i know of a salvage vette yard that is actual right around the corner from me. i will call them today. i know they currently dont have one but will let them know iam in the market. i also ask them to put it on the "wire."
list of cars/suv, again that are running 6/l80e...

that 7000rpm your quoting for the 6l80 auto trans is exactly what the LS7 is capable of.

it looks like i will definately be fitting this tranny to my car. got some really goosd people working with me to make it work. tranny is not available yet in any warehouse but when it is ill be first.
really looking forward as i believe that this will be and extremely popular conversion.

Come on guys, someone please buy one of these transmissions and let us know how it works out. I would give my left nut to have a 6 speed auto in my LPE car. And did anyone mention the torque and horsepower ratings?

they are not available yet! i will buy as soon as one is in.
they are rated in or around the same as 4l80e.
they DO NOT RUN BANDS TO ENGAGE 2ND AND 4TH.
