Corvette High Performance Driving School Plans Underway
Plans for the first ever NCM sponsored High Performance Driving School are currently being developed for October 2005 – and we need your input! This exciting driving school event will focus on teaching students how to handle a vehicle safely at a controlled and supervised venue. Beginners will learn about weight transfer, handling, cornering forces, braking, “seeing the road” and driving smoothly. Tentative plans call for the event to be held at Carolina Motorsports Park, and the school will have room for a maximum of 70 students using their own Corvettes. Instructors will ride with each student during all track time, and all levels of drivers will have classroom as well as track time scheduled. We expect a minimum of 3.5 hours of track time for each run level over the two-day event, and we estimate that the cost of the event will be no more than $400 for the two-day activities. If you are interested in being a part of this driving school event, please contact NCM Events Manager, Roc Linkov at: roc@corvettemuseum.com or HPDE Event Master Tom Bohlmann thomasbohlmann@yahoo.com

My avitar I received from a Client of mine in Japan. It was his photoshop idea of what the C6R would look like. He made this last Aug or Sept.
Now that the C6R is out, I should find a new avitar, but I like this too much.
Thanks for asking
If your looking for a large C5 or C6 decal for the nose of your car, Kerry Hilt at ACP/ Corvette Race Bodies has them for the World Challange Corvettes.
Rice at a real race track? How many fire extinguishers are installed in the car?
How bout we make this some kind of large Corvette Forum event, and make me a deal I couldn't resist to drive up there for? Same with EG...i'm sure we can get him down for a good deal on a driving school....after all, all those rice mods probably doubled his supercharger performance!

Chris, Chris, Chris...
For additional RWHP, I bolt on Neon.
And Hey! Let me inform you folks that each inch of neon is worth 2.73rwhp (SAE adjusted). I've gained well over 36rwhp from the neon I've installed so far - and when I complete my stereo upgrade, I'll be good for a net gain of over 79rwhp!!!
Damn, I'm supposed to be playing in Key West that week. Anyone have a quarter...heads florida, tails NC
Boy, will the girlfriend kill me if it lands tails....

The Octber event is the test run. I am sure the event will go off without a problem. That is partly why Roc and I started the planning in DEC and doing some promotion now, 9 months out.
We will have the web site up with more info in March.
I will see about putting up the Video I made from inside my car at CMP last Oct. I think Adam was over it.
Adam gets first dibs on rides
Here are a few pictures of CMP. If you would like to see more pictures go to the link below my signature "More Pictures." then go to CMP

Guess I'll be installing a roll bar this year Tom. Tentatively count me in.
Let me know how I can help. If you need the technicals of a roll bar send me an PM with your email addy and I will send a copy to you.
Roc and I may have a bit too much to do to instruct. But we have many instructors already lined up who are Corvette drivers themselves and have years of experience on the track.
