I forgot to mention, after your joy ride with the gentleman, let him read this thread! He may really enjoy our support!
ya...he might really enjoy reading how some people on here think he could drop dead at any moment. Of course, I suppose that every 92 year old needs to be a realist...For example, I bet they don't buy green bananas.
An unbelievable awesome story. You will be with a member of the "Last Great Generation". They have given us so much!!!!!!!! Please enjoy your time with him, you will never forget those moments. This is the BEST post/thread that I have ever read on the forum. Congrates on your ability to give of yourself to another human being!!
The best photo will be Pops in the drivers seat. Thats what I want to see. My Mom (70) drove my car last year and I'm still trying to get my Father-in-law to drive it. Cool, can't wait to see some pics. doug
brought tears to my eyes and that's a good idea about taking pictures so he'll have something else to show. Just think how long he's been carrying that pic; it must have meant something special to him. Your're doing a good deed.
That is awesome! Wish I could come across someone like that in the near future. Not to give them a heart attack er anything like that, but just to let them re-live their fun times once again.
