If you quit it will die just that much faster. I wave at every vette I see, most have waved back. I even wave at the trucks pulling Corvettes.

The wave is very much alive, the last time I drove my C-5 (Sunday) I exchanged waves with a guy in a Pewter C-5 Coupe. I've been waving for 17 years, it's a tough habit to break.

Would it be in poor form to give a "seig heil" salute to the ones that don't return the wave? 
This whole thing is actually pretty amusing. Most of the drivers that DO wave back don't include a smile, and look like it's a chore or dreaded obligation they have inherited. But frankly, I don't spend a whole lot of time looking at them. I'm too busy driving.

I agree with what was said earlier, it's an education issue. Years ago I got my HD Fatboy and was not only told of the wave but instructed in how to do the HD wave as well. I've had vettes over the last 20 years and never heard of a vette wave until this form. Someone needs to get the word out to the new and old owners...

I have gotten many waves this week to and fro from work, good responsible corvette owners wave and make sure to have sand or water to put out their fires...
