Two words bud "Lawyer Up" it may save your license and higher insurance rates.
I got ticketed in that great state of TX for doing 78 in a 65 (at night) cost $173.00. Knock on wood it hasn't showed up on my record here in Cali.
Good luck
They may have had a plane in the air clocking you. They do that here. Sunny day = watch the sky for big birds with stop watches. No Radar or Laser will save you from the plane.
I was going to say the same thing. They have planes here too. But they don't use them in the city though.
If you see a strips going across the road every now and then, those are markers for the airplanes to clock cars.
(10) a violation of an applicable speed limit by a person
driving in excess of 100 miles per hour. The person's license
must be revoked for six months for a violation of this clause,
or for a longer minimum period of time applicable under section
169A.53, 169A.54, or 171.174.
Looks like you're F#<ed. Unless a lawyer can get you off somehow. They got you at 110, hopefully he can plead it down to 99. Whatever you do, don't just pay the fine and send the ticket in. Thats the same as pleading guilty.
But get ready to open your wallet. Wide.

Find a good Traffic Court Attorney. It will be worth the cost if he beats or gets the ticket reduced.
Good luck and dont worry about the flames. Anyone who states they dont speed in their Corvette is, well a Hypocrite.
Yes, it will suck if you hit someone , or hurt an innocent party. But we are all grown-ups and if I felt like being preached to , I would go to Church.

Again....Good Luck
damn i just liked how you stated that. and i dont go to church...
Good luck. I haven't been picked out yet, but I am pretty careful. I don't think 100 in our car is unsafe. I would do that on the interstate all day, and never think twice.
Take my advice. Get a lawyer. I was in traffic court and a guy came in with a ticket well over the posted speed limit. He had a lawyer in toe and he shut his mouth and let the lawyer do ALL the talking. The judge commended him for recognizing the seriousness of the situation, gave him a reduced fine, traffic school, and hung a warning over his head. The judge asked him if he had anything to say after the penalty was issued. He said no and left with his license, car, and some dignity left. He was lighter in the pocket but he can still drive.
from the dictionary so its true.
hypocrite
n : a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he does not hold
n : corvette owner who bashes you for driving the car as it should but does so him/herself.
at least you were going fast on an open highway in daylight where you have great view of the road. imo id fight that ticket to prevent insurance rates going up and to keep your license. here in hawaii 30 over is mandatory court. just dont tell your insurance co and hope they dont find out so keep on top of your bills and dont make any changes for a while.
I have a couple of buddies on the police force here in MN, sounds like you could loose your license, bought a v-1 last year and has paid for it self many times over.
sorry to hear that bro... but i thought in MN (where i live also) that any speeding over 100 is a immediate removal of license... i would say, if she didn't give u that, ur lucky!
i would go to court regardless, see if they drop it or at least lower the fine... never hurts... perhaps the cop won't show up and it will get thrown out...
Florida - december '05 heading to Miami to pick up a viper (gave my friend a ride) Blew by a cop at 130 on I-95. He didn't even bother chasing me. On the way home, we took the FL turnpike late at night. We didn't drop below 110mph between pit stops for several hundred miles. Of course, at 140 my friend's targa top on his viper started acting funny, so we had to limit our speed...
South Dakota - September '04 - AVERAGED 94mph across the entire state.
I've never gotten a ticket in my Z. Got a warning once in Kansas. That's it so far - knock on wood. I don't even have a radar detector. been meaning to get a V1 forever... I guess I just have good instincts about where the fuzz is. hehe
