Hope you find a good lawyer - this one could end up being very costly for you if the judge decides to hammer you. Can't say I've never driven that fast - just been lucky and not been caught.
Get a Lawyer. You'll get off with a mild fine or court costs and no points if your record is otherwise reletively clean.
I got caught doing 118(was goign faster) in a 45 on my bike. Spent an evening in jail. Got a laywer($1000) and he got reckless reduced to careless. Then the judge just sent me to the driving school and I got no points or record for it.
Not supporting speeding on public streets, but anyone that owns a vette and says they never speed is either a complete liar..or wasting a perfectly good sportscar.
You admitted that you were exceeding the speed limit....
So take your lumps and don't whine about it. If you're gonna play, you're gonna pay. Sorry I can't muster more sympathy than to say, sorry.....
It didn't take long for the "Holier Than Thou" to show up.
There wasn't a hint of "whine" in his post and he sure didn't ask for
sympathy nor blame anyone. He knows what he did and asked for
info on what to do. He disputes the stated speed as well he should.
And if anyone here has not driven 90+ in their Vette or any car
at any time, then they're either in a coma or full of $hit and should
STFU.
According to legislative research page on Minn. traffic laws.....
"Minnesota does not have a point system on driver’s licenses, but a third petty misdemeanor in a year can be charged as a misdemeanor, and a third misdemeanor in a year can result in a driver’s license revocation. A speed of 100 m.p.h. or more results in at least a six-month license revocation. "
I jsut got hit in florida last weekend doing 90 on I-10. The LEO caught me and he knew that I knew I was speeding. I admited it and told himt hat I hit that comfortable zone keeping up with the flow of traffic and wanted to pass the guy in front of me that couldn't drive a straight line to save his life.
To make a long story short, he wrote me up for doing 79 in a 70. There's a stroke of luck.
As for you doing 110 or whatever, jsut yell B.O.H.I.C.A! and reach for your ankles.
Guys, you dont even feel you are doing 100 mph. I often go to Germany and I am doing way over 150 mph all the time and I feel great. Everybody is drving fast over there and they have less mortality than other european countries.
You can go over the speed limit and if the road is empty with nobody there, you wont kill anyone
I dont know how some of you can flame a guy who was just driving his car like it is meant to be
Good luck to you
And the roads you are traveling on in Germany are unseen in the good old USA. They are as glass...I wish we had it so nice here.
TSK TSK!
I hope you learned your lesson, something bad could've happened, so it's good that you did get caught. May sound like an ******* but its better than you or someone else losing control of their car and having an unfortunate little messup.

Geez,
Almost everyone is beating this guy up, there is a time and a place for everything. Rush hour congested traffic , in a situation where the only one who can be injured is yourself....HAVE AT IT! He said nothing of the road conditions at the time. What the heck did some of you buy your Vettes for, to look at them?
This is coming from a guy who has 0 points for 12+ years, but I was pulled over recently doing 119 in a 50.(no cars in sight) The cop came up to the car, saw all the diognostic equiptment on my lap and said "oh your from the Vette shop" and turned around.
