column lock (seriously can't believe no one has mentioned this yet)
Computer Aided Gear Selection (CAGS)
Useless Cup Holder
Gargantuan Antenna on the Z06's
Weak Headlights

Vette tracks funny when I pull my 19' Wellcraft boat. Backend gets a little fussy when pulling it out of a boat-launch area and braking downhill...

BUT that Corsa Indy exhaust does make a pretty cool burble when it is under water while pulling the boat out!!!

not mentioned yet,
not having the ability to override the Tire pressure sensors monitor in earlier models
having to press the reset button every time you start the car gets old .

I hate having to get back in my car after putting the top up to do the freakin windows up that really pisses me off. I saw the module the other day to add remote window up and down to the key fob I am ordering!

The rocking seat catches me off guard all the time.

Conceptually, why did they build the climate control so when you first touch it nothing happens? The first touch puts the unit into SET mode, and then you can adjust it. That's really dumb.

Finally the radio buttons should be illuminated when their station number is selected. I'm forever pushing button 4 to find out the radio is already on number four.

No problem with torque though!

The cup holder poor design is the major problem to me. Girl in a box fixed that item very nicely.

The AC auto mode is demon posssessed. I DO NOT want AUTO, that is why I have a MN6. I want manual AC. Yes I get it there but it could be easier.

Sorry to disagree with that those of you named the CAGS, but that keeps our cars in the high MPG group and keeps the gas guzzler tax off us. Buy the CAGS eliminator and it is gone.

But here are the things that do tend to make me a little batty:
The column lock fiasco is pitiful. The person responsible for the whole mess should not only be fired, but his or her salary retracted from the time of design inception.
Also, I thought it was just me, but I'm glad to hear that others think the headlights suck. I got my wife a new ('06) Camry and the lights on that thing are fabulous! On bright, it's like daylight ahead. Even my 2000 F-150's lights are better. How could this be? Did Chivvy use left-over bulbs from the last Vega production run?
And while I'm on a rant, having owned a couple old (70s) GM big blocks with "twice-pipes," the LS1 exhaust note, especially combined with the MN6 rattle, is nothing to savor. From the back, instead of a hi-perf car, it sounds like a Caterpillar farm implement. I certainly don't want it louder; to me, the decibels are just fine; just smoother and mellower.
But these things do fade in comparison to its good points....I wouldn't trade mine for anything, even with the pimples and imperfections. I guess they give it personality...

What a dumb feature. Only car in the world (that I'm aware of) that has such a silly device.

Yea, but the best part is when you lean into the car to hit the button and the fuel door slaps you on the kiester.

For me it would be the center compartment which I can't seem to reach into with my right arm. I can open it but I have to reach across with my left arm to get anything out of that compartment. Not a major but it makes me feel stupid everytime I open it.

CAGS - but that's easy to bypass
Column Lock - but that's easy to bypass too
No auto up on the windows
Cup holder - but I added another one so that's no longer an issue
Use of a non standard size radio... c'mon GM if you had used a double din it would have been so easy to change out the stock unit for a really nice DVD/Nav double din unit. I sure wish some forum vendor would offer a console modified to accept a double din and that looked OEM.

I am trying to figure a way to either bend it away and/or down a bit or shorten it. I suppose doing that would be a major production. Anybody else bothered by this? Any other options?
Agreed! Makes me look like a rookie!
