Im trying to think of some things to clean up the engine bay, I was gonna get some LS7 fuel rail covers and modify them to fit, anybody got any input??
WOW. I think you need to have a christening party for us eastern PA boys for this thing when it's "done." LOL Where in W. Chester are you? I'm right in Lansdowne. I know exactly where your Porsche dealship is. I'd love to check this beast out some time (and get some more local tuner info from you).
Im about 5 minutes down west chester pike from the my dealership if your heading towards west chester. The car should be finished up within the next week, if any local guys want to come check it out and want more info on it just let me know.
I am really impressed with your overall plan and execution of that plan. You really picked some great parts. I am very interested in seeing the dyno results, as well as your driving impressions.
Hope you get a chance to road race it this spring so you can let us know how your car handles.
How did you learn to do all this? Are you an auto tech? Have you been doing this for a lot of years?

Thanks, and keep those posts coming!
Im only 21 so saying ive been doing it for a while will sound strange but ill say ive been doing it as long as I have been able too. I always played with stuff when I was younger and would mess around with the lawnmowers or change my dads oil and so on. I started out with Hondas and that where I learned all the basics I guess you could say. I just went from there I got more tools and took on bigger jobs to where I was doing motor swaps, clutches ect ect and it just carried over to all the cars and trucks I have owned since. All the physical hands on stuff I can figure out on my own its actually really easy if you have the right tools but some more complicated stuff I have knowledgeable people I can ask if I need a hint or advice on a part of something. I graduated from U.T.I in Nov. which is a techincal school but in retrospect it wasnt much use and didnt teach me to much more than I knew to be perfectly honest. With the Corvette build like I said if there was an issue with something I could always give Mike at Rapid a call and he would help me out as well as answering my questions when I went up there on something he was doing. I currently work at a Porsche dealership and I am going to Atlanta in Feb, for Porsche factory training. Wow that turned out a lot longer than I thought haha, but yea thats the long and the short of my learnings of my techincal abilitys.
