Yea ive been pumped for it ever since it started going back together. I really have no idea what to expect, im hoping 600+ at the wheels and that shouldnt be unreasonable to expect but how far into the 6s it will go I have no idea.
Yea anyone paying attention to my setup my coilovers and chassis bar are both from pfadtracing.com, they are great people customer service is top notch I only wish they made more stuff for my car that I could buy
But on a side note Aaron how exactly to you pronouce Pfadt?
CONGRATULATIONS That thing sounds incredible! What drives a decision to go SD vs. MAF? I always thought MAF was easier to tune (relatively speaking), but it seems more of the higher hp N/A guys are going SD.
Thanks for sharing the vid..... Please post up a dyno session vid & sheet once you get that far! Hey, are you going to go to the National Corvette Challenge this Feb. @ Richmond Dragway? I'd love the chance to see that car in action.
dude, I just read every post and looked at every pic, then i got to watch the vid, talk about ****, I just came. If you go to the glen post up, I went twice last year, one time with 8 other vette guys, and once with5 other guys. Awsome work
Mike made the choice to tune it speed density, his just finished up a 427 build last week and he wasnt happy with the MAF tune so he went to SD and decided to go that route with my setup.
Im hoping I can get the dyno runs on video it all depends what time he hits the rollers. Still have a lot of work left to do to get it 100% daily driveable, my interior is still out, I need to fix my water leaks, have to refiberglass the hood and seal that, have to align and cornerweight it. Its gonna be down to the wire to get the car finished before I take it to atlanta.
What RPM where you at when the spring let go? Jordan please post up about the VBP bushings when you have some miles on them as far as any squeaking goes. Thanks, Don
I was at redline in 3rd when it let loose. Ill post up plenty of info once I get the car on the road. This will be my daily driver so im sure some interesting stories will be had from the experience.

Thanks. Yeah kinda what I thought on the RPM's. Do you know the build date of your Z? Just curious. Don
You can get close by the white sticker in the door jam. It will have month year. To get the day you can use the museum for a build sheet or if you have a contact at a Chevrolet dealer they can run your build history. I have been keeping track of the valve spring issues and trying to narrow down the dates. Don
This is one of the most intriguing threads that I have encountered on this forum.
Unbelievable job of documenting the creation of that Vette. Looks like you are in for some well deserved fun!
Thanks for sharing.
