"School"...... What're you studying? Just curious.

Thanks for the recommendation on VBP, it's nice to hear people's opinions about the vendors they deal with. Have fun tomorrow, car **** is *almost* as good as the REAL thing!!! hahahaaa

As for your future house/garage plans..... You need to make a GARAGE-MA-HALL!!! Ya know, Bendpak 2-post lift, all matching cabinets, epoxy floor coating, memorabilia, etc. Heck, throw in a rotating display to park the Vette on too while you're at it!!

WW, good for you!!! Hope you're bringing the Vette.... weather is pretty mild there, might as well have some fun!

A new Z06 would be a great present to yourself, but you'll probably find it pretty weak compared to your other cars!

Yea the vettes coming with me, and the C6 Z may seem weak (it hurts me to say that lol) but the LSX block will be out by the time I get it, so it wont be that way for long

Are you guys flat rate or salary at your dealer?

btw, I think I went to school with a guy who works there. His name was Brad, I can't remember his last name though. If I recall correctly, he was a Ford guy.

^ Why do all this modding to the C5 Z only to buy a C6 Z and mod the **** out of it? Why have to hyper modded hardtop Corvettes... why not make the C5Z hella cool then go a different direction w/ something custom or a hot rod etc.

Why not? I really want a C6 Z ... its pretty much that simple I guess. I have several ideas for my next cars, I will probably build two at a time again like I did with my L and my Z but the new Z has a definite spot on the next build list. I really want to do a huge diesel truck, kinda like the tow vehicle from hell

Why not, for sure!!! Man if I didn't have a whole heck of a lotta things to blow my $$$$'s on..... I would be building cars constantly. My Vette is like my 13th car to "work" on, it's great to take something to a certain level & enjoy it for a while, then move on to something else.

I used to do a heck of a lot more wrenching myself, but with the family and work pressure.... I'm just too wiped out! Plus there is something to be said for working with a quality vendor (A&A, ECS, Steve @ CT Corvette, Slowhawk, SD, etc.) and driving off with confidence that the car runs GREAT!!!

Maybe once I get down to Ga., with a "proper" garage, I'll get back to wrenching for myself..... Perhaps I'll go N/A next time with that 402 & ropey cam? (Steve's building me a forged 347 now with some really nice components to go with my D1-SC) Who knows!! Maybe I'll just start doing up a proper sound system, body kit & custom flame job to match my helmet, and some bright stuff for under the hood!!

Gee..... Hobbies sure are expensive!!!
