I'm in no hurry to get rid of my C5. I'd wait until the C8 model comes out. Then, I'd buy a C7 from the last model year. Hopefully, it should be bug free by then.
SMH & LOL at all that nonsense...so basically because you don't like it you don't want us to like it, sorry buddy,my C5 is a cool car but I would drop that car like a bad habit for a C7 if I was able, C5's have **** loads of problems also...so do a little more reading before you start with all the anti C7 BS!!!
Grow up tard. I never said any such thing. I am merely pointing out how GM made a 70 thousand dollar car that has more problems than a 2 thousand dollar Yugo. Maybe you are dumb enough to pay 70 grand for a POS but my 70 grand Mercedes never had even one problem the entire 4 years I owned it. THATS what I expect from 70 grand... PERFECTION.
Not a fan of the C7 but if I could, I would get rid of my C5 Z for a C6 Z in a New York minute.
Maybe the C7 will grow on me, maybe it won't but as of now, I love the technology the car has but I would never get a first model year anyway.
I'm sure they'll improve as the model years go by. Did the '97 models have no issues? Yes, it cost less but factor in inflation and are we really that far off?

Well I'd expect any car made in the late 90's to have issues now.
FYI: Your 70K Mercedes is still probably comparable spec to spec to a Kia Optima. Just sayin. But its all good. We know some people need the "I have a Mercedes" or "I drive a Beemer" to make them feel warm and toasty inside. I just let my Supercharged LS1 do all the warming and toasting. BTW, Mercedes and BMW's have gorgeous headlights and front grills.

C7 POS? Really?? Driving a Mercedes has really fuct up your head!
I love my C5 Z, I loved my 76, and I love the C7. I would never try to compare them to each other. I will have a C7, maybe wait for the C7 Z, but I love the looks of the C7. (the c6 never really grew on me)

and that's why your on here crying go figure...then don't buy one and shut the hell up!!! and go fix the bugs on your C5 or buy another so called trouble free Mercedes...wow we get them all on this forum SMH

I wasn't too thrilled when the 2005 came out, but the Z06 and GS significantly improved the looks of the C6. Maybe a C7Z will make me come around on the looks of the C7. Right now it has too many disjointed angles for me. I think the entire auto industry is going through a fad of that right now.
In two years my financial stars will come into alignment and I'll be in a position to look for a nice C7Z or maybe a GS. Prices should continue to come down by then, and the way most CF guys take care of their cars, I should have a nice selection to choose from when they upgrade to C7s. When that happens both buyer and seller will be very happy.
