Had Grape out the last few weekends. Been running great, AC is still cold so I'm happy about that. Went to a few shows with it. Have been meeting some really nice people and seeing some pretty cool stuff out there. Today was a drive about an hour away in a small town park. Had trees around so we had some good shade instead of a hot parking lot to deal with.

Thanks y'all for the compliments. 😎👍 Much appreciated. Yeah I have to agree about the 1 more thing. Time will tell though. Hey Tusc, I've had that cargo logo on it for quite a while now. Guess I've not really shown it much. Appreciate the compliment too.

Thank you for the kind words. Really appreciate that. And thanks for watching the video too. 😎👍 My oldest daughter use to live in Plantation. We went down for a visit a couple times and really enjoyed the area. Went on a couple airboat rides and got to see the locals too.

This one kinda scared me when he got so close. Glad he didn't try to jump in the boat. The guy driving said it was about a 10 footer.

It does, huh! 😄👍 He had lots of sharp pointy things when he lifted his hood too. Not sure if I did the right thing by not moving away from the edge but I didn't want to turn my back on him. I could have reached out and touched him if I had wanted to. But there again, I didn't want to be dinner for anything either. My wife sitting right next to me on my right side and told me to stick my hand in the water, but she didn't know he was even there. She couldn't see him. She was looking at another one that was farther away. When I showed her this video she understood why I didn't want to do that. 😲

Now on to the C5 portion. Attended another show yesterday. It was about 25 miles west and south of me so it was close. Had a great time and the weather was almost perfect. Cloudy, cool and only sprinkled a couple times. Tney said they had 219 vehicles in a town that has 219 people living there. Pretty much doubled the population. I was put in the 1989-2002 year modified cars. Got 2nd place, happy to get anything.

--------UPDATE TO THE PREVIOUS POST-------

I mistakenly spoke in my video. I won't be selling the KnightDriveTV headlights I have. I spoke with him this morning and I will need that kit to use them for an UPGRADE to the new ones I'll be getting. So those lights I said were for sale in the video are NOT for sale. I'll need to hang on to them. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm thinking of doing the same for my Electron Blue 02. They'll look neat at car shows but I'm a tad worried about draining the battery.

I am a Native Floridian and have lived here my entire life. I've waterskied and swam in rivers and lakes all over Florida and never had an alligator come this close to me or my boat.

For the most part alligators are afraid of humans. With the exception of mating season or being fed by humans alligators are nocturnal in nature. An alligator coming this close to an airboat with humans during the day tells me that he is associating being fed by humans. Which is illegal and extremely dangerous.

I am thinking that same thing. To able to keep them on at shows the other lights will need to be on as well. Tail lights, side markers and front marker lights. So unless, like Stingroo mentioned in another thread, you get the power from another source and install a switch. I'll see how they are when I can get them in and on. I have LED's all around so the power draw would be less I'd hope.

Thank you for that clarification. I've often wondered about that feeding thing. He was probably waiting for me to throw something out for him then. We were on another airboat tour the next year and I actually filmed the tour guide throwing food off the back of the boat to the gator that came up to him. It swam right past us and went right to him and waited for him the drop the food. He just knew it was coming. I'm sure they started doing that to get them to come close to the boats for the photo ops. Totally wrong.....

Here's another video that I made to update the previous video. Sorry for the miscommunication on the lights. That was totally on me for not paying attention to KnightDriveTV's latest video.

I can definitely relate Mark. I have a couple of modifications that I have been procrastinating on installing as well.
