We're pleased that you're pleased. Another 900 miles and you'll be ready for synthetic engine oil, so you should see the operating temps drop just a bit and the engine's smoothness/power delivery increase slightly.

Regards- DTE

Phil has assured me, that after you see my dyno graph, you will take your car back for a more aggressive cam and prolly some AFR heads. In fact, I believe he has already ordered the heads. If I were you, i wouldn't worry about it, who cares if I end up with 50-60 more ft lbs of TQ then you do? It's not that big of deal............

3B, stop trying to get us into trouble...

I suspect the power output would be nearly a wash since 3B's cam has more duration/lift than 1bad, but 3B has also chosen not to use headers/high flow cats as 1bad did either. It's going to be interesting to see how the engine bahaves with stock exhaust manifolds/H-pipe through an automatic w/ 3.73's.

Phil do you have a dyno graph showing 535 RWHP that I can borrow?

I wouldn't get REAL mad, if by chance when I picked up the car you said "well Jim I went ahead and put headers on, turns out I picked up 35 ft lbs of tq by doing this"........

I live 3 houses down from the dealer where I bought the Vette. He is a pure "stock" type of vette guy (has 6 zr1's amoung many others), he looks at the stuff I have done and just shakes his head ..........

Phil has assured me, that even without headers he will be able to get me, ATLEAST 1 more foot pound of TQ then you have.

intresting info about the ls2

http://www.hotrodlane.cc/

go down about 1/3 of the way and click on LS2 Video.

I can't wait to see the numbers. You will love it. The way the car pulls through the powerband, amazing.

Phil, I just talked to the AZ co Street Performance and you are on targete with the LS2 project, better numbers with less mods and the AFR heads will rock when installed. Sweet!

Phil have you given any thought as where you are going to put the line lock button? If it will still be easy to take the center console, radio surround stuff in at out, VERY easy, I think maybe in the ash tray area would be a good place? ( I will be taking that center area out many times for various reasons) or you could just run in down on the right side of the center console area, where you will see the mute button for my escort, as long as I wouldn't hit the button by mistake.

Maybe you could mount it in the middle of the air bag, so when run into a tree it will leave a cool round mark on my forehead?
