Actually I have had four pairs of headers on various cars, so I think I know more about good and bad headers than most. All installed myself.

You're an idiot. The point isn't that imports and domestics are the same. The point is that it's the same crappy company making crappy products. I know there's other products out there that if 9/10 of their products suck, you aren't going to buy the 1/10 you interpret to be okay.

LOL, if they were so excellent why would you need a new version? Unless you have multiple cars of course.

I am not going to stop. A bad set of headers will make you hate driving your car and make you really not enjoy it. There's a lot of people who would rather not be cheap and be certain to have a good header experience. I have gone cheap before and never will again. I am giving my opinion for those people. They can take it or leave it. But at least they can see the negatives of SSAC quality.

I am just offering a differing opinion so that everyone can see some negatives and then make an informed decision. Just because it offends you doesn't mean I should stop.

I think maybe Kooks needs a new version (which would be their THIRD one also) as well, what a nightmare this seems!

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1971763

Surely they aren't that bad to install are they? Any of you guys running them?

They all are a bitch to install, no getting around that part!

You just got to hope the ones you buy actually fit and don't require modification, which is what I hear you have to do with SSAC. You gotta love having a header almost bolted up only to find it needs to go back out and be taken to an exhaust shop.

The new revised ones are going to be plug and play and we will have dyno numbers to boot. So let's just wait and see then we can have a debate which is better.

You can have dyno numbers now. Unless they are radically redesigning the headers, you could take those to the bank already. But everyone has a good idea what to expect with most headers.

If you want TSP headers and cats, you still have to buy parts separately and have a shop weld cats in, correct? And there is no AIR provision, regarding an 01 car?

wow, had no idea everyone has been waiting so long for these 3rd revision SSAC headers to come out... Any day now... aaaany day now....

Has anyone had problems with the revised TSP headers? How about rust problems internal / external with the coated TSP's. Any idea who makes them for TSP?
