Look into Monster Clutches. Very high success rate, and I love my Stage 3 it has stock pedal feel and drives great.

I had a Spec in my STI and it was a PIECE OF ****!!! It went out in 3 months..

alright heres my update. I finally found a puller like the one above i rented it from Kragen, worked without issue. pulled the front cover off pulled the cam, installed new cam, about to swap oil pumps and the timing chain. oh yeah i also cleaned the top of the pistons just for the hell of it. (damn that takes some time). just have to check the head bolt holes to make sure nothing went down them, install studs, do a final wipe of the bores and deck and bolt on the heads. (im sure im forgetting something but i will remember when i see my list).

well i started putting my car back together I got the cam in and the oil pump, chain. I made sure everything was good and put the front cover on. and put the UD pulley on, now here is my question how do you know if the pulley is fully seated? I used my old bolt to torque the pully to 240ft lbs. now is the bolt supposed to be a bitch to break it loose again?

still nothing huh,.....well i hope i don't break anything lol will give it another shot when i get home. UPDATE
I went to my shop and found a great piece of equipment that i used It is an ATP 7520 HT-PT 3/4" rated at about 1000 lb ft of torque. and damn is it expensive im glad i didn't have to pay for it. I used a 1/2" step down and went at it my compressor popped the breaker a couple of time and everything was good. well as you can tell from the bolt the threads are ****ed, im just glad it came out in one piece. I will grap a tap and chase them down or just clean it up but the crank looks fine. For all who don't know or couldn't guess (probobly wont post either) I tried to use the old gm crank bolt to push the pulley on well this is the outcome DON'T DO IT LIKE ME!!!! so i will grab a tap and either rent a pulley install tool or I will make one.

and my bolt once i got it out

I am taking pics but will post them later on when i have more time.

well 1BADGTM and I did some math and the length i need is a 7.326 pushrod that includes the .075 lifter preload. I can round that to a 7.325 and get this sucker rollin. Thanks Mike you helped me out of a jam. whats even cooler is he has some pushrods from his trial and error head and cam swap that will fit the bill.

So should I be expecting a phone call this evening? I want to hear that bad boy running.

On another note, I finally got my exhaust Leak's all situated. I did notice that the rear diff is leaking the case has a nice coat of gear lube on it the reverse syncro in the transmission is getting worse, I have to hold the shifter in reverse when I back up all of this is FTMFL. Man, I'm not looking foward to changine the rear differential or the transmission.

Can I see your tune? I have a feeling that the tables that will determine if your car blows up or not (except the ve table) are pretty similar.

sent it to ya. well car started fine no issues idles good has a normal sewing machine sound so that issue will be addressed with the pushrods. only thing i gotta look at is the oil pressure at initial start up it went to over 50psi drove it a lil then when it idles it will go to like 35 or a lil more i need to see if thats ok or if its an issue, because when i accelerate the pressure goes up but i love it. the car pulls real nice in the upper rpms just doing normal spirited driving. thanks for the base tune Ryne see you when we work out a day, thanks Matt for helping me finish putting my car back together, thank you to mike for the tech advise. there are others to thank for advice given to many to name lol. looks good

I got home and drove it again tonight WOW its a great boost in power and its not fully tuned. I am also impressed with the bilstien shocks those made the ride very comfortable, it used to be really harsh before. I have a vid of the initial startup that will be posted tomorrow or saturday.
