agreed, you should be fine with that cam and stock heads/gaskets, but it doesn't ever hurt to double check

you could also change the LSA to a 113 or a 114 to help your PTV clearance. Ask Patrick what your PTV would be with this cam, a true cam guru should know what fits what when the stock heads are still in place.

I am also considering this cam for my LS2

If you are running an A-4 Trans and you go with a 228-232, .580+ lift cam, plan on putting in a stall converter to get the drivability back. It's gonna push bad at idle. Example, 30 to 40 mph with out your foot on ther gas. With a 2700-2800 stall it will drive like it did from the factory.

That patrick G cam looks great, high lift numbers give little more torque down low, that huge lift has nothing to do with PTV clearance as Zeevette already said. Go for a Patrick G cam.

If you want my cam 228/232, .585/.595, 113 LSA no advance ground in this cam as far as i know, still in box brand new bought from 21stcenturymusclecars.com part of LPE, they even call this cam a Lpe GT18 Cam.

I will switch my cam for this Patrick G Cam i like that cam specs, plus $50. lemme know if you already owened that cam? if not diregard this post.
