I just purchased a T2 Clone and was going to go through AliExpress.
Had a hard time with them accepting my credit card ( I don't know why )
anyway I took dadaroo and 8VETTE7's advice and ordered the SP23-C from Careucar . After reading k24556's problems I'm glad I listened to Mr Sam

I just hope I'm not gonna get slammed with a hefty Customs fee !

I bought a second one from CareUcar and it works fine. Never did get my device back from the first guy at ALi. never paid customs additional fees. Must be embedded in the price, or I think the US has some sort of trade agreement with China.

no I never got a refund for months I would get a polite note that he was promptly returning my keypad, but that was last July, so I concluded he was blowing me off. Haven't heard from Mr Alan Ziang (Aliexpress No. 1 Auto diagnostic tool store) since August. I am hoping he got drafted into the Chinese army and is standing guard at the border of N. Korea this winter. I also hope they forgot to issue socks for his feet. I guess I should show more love.....

I bought it expecting it to possibly be a throw-away investment. Sure was.

Any one bought one of these lately? Look at this price with free shipping. Getting ready to order one.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/DHL-F...6-6cfef6f52b05

Any body have trouble giving out your credit card info? Looks like paypal isn't an option.

The issue with getting your card authorized on sites like AliExpress, DHGate, etc.. is that they often charge in foreign currency and that's an automatic red flag to your card issuer. I've had that issue before.

Yea, I did, but they are both selling the same thing, and one is 2/3 cost wise. There are several different options at ali. One is free shipping and one is 137.00 shipping, both DHL.

They look like the same to me, except the shipping cost one is $137.00 and the other is free.

Considering picking one of these up now. Just found out yesterday that my Snappy Solus Ultra, for all it's capability, will NOT do an ABS bleed on a pre-01 Vette. And I have a 99. Go figure.

Just got my Tech 2 from AliExpress. I bought it expecting it to be a throw away possibility. I was pleasantly surprised.

Took it right out of the box, plugged it in to my 2011 Z06, and activated the Afterblow feature. I also cleared some old DTC codes that were in history. It works just fine and the quality feels genuine. It's a pretty good knock off. Even came with all of the stickers from the Veltronix manufacturer. I assume they are knock off too.

But whatever, it works and only $289 shipped to my door. I put it through the paces and everything seems to be working just like the real thing.

P.S. As for Mr. Sam, it would be nice if you offered some reasoning rather than blind suggestion.

I have used mine to do two crank sensor re=learns and did the brake bleed on mine for the EBCM flush and it worked fine, if I threw it away now it would have done what I bought it for !!!!!!!!!!!!!
