I was 21 when I bought this 1965, 43 years ago this week.
I had arrived home from Vietnam 2 weeks earlier.
I paid 2900 cash.



This past April I bought this 1999.
Have had a blast driving it.
Put just over 10,000 miles on it.



It is OK to drive them, right?

The fever started in 1971. I was 20 yrs. old. Got my first Corvette, a1967, 300 hp, 4-speed, ps, pb, ac coupe. I traded a 1969 Impala for it. Now 41 yrs. and 14 Corvettes later the fever only gets worst. I just bought a 2013 427 conv. There is no cure.....and I love it

I figured that I am retired, have always wanted one, have college accounts set up for the Grandkids, encouragement from the spouse AND I felt I deserve it.
