After reading reviews here and on other forums from people who have used them, as well as doing a little research on how they work and potential issues resulting from doing so -- none of the above.

I've had my Vitesse for about two years now. I've gotten used to it on"4", but not long ago, my cousin was going to drive my Z06 up the road for a short run. I set the Vitesse on "6" and laughed as he spun the tires in my gravel driveway without trying!

I got one a Vitesse and I enjoy it. I use it on level 4-5 for the most part. I put it back down to 0 (stock) when I let a friend drive it. The car feels much softer that way, if that's what you want.

I leave mine on 7 and it is so much better throttle response. Best Mod I have done so far.

And for those who think electronics must be faster than a human, yes, you are right. But engine response is always going to be far slower than either. And even if the response is faster to mid throttle, it can't be faster to full throttle. All it is doing is changing the mapping of voltage to position in the mid range with 0 and 100% remaining the same. They just makes people think the car is more responsive because when the driver presses to 50% the engine is told to go to 75% making it seem more powerful but it is just an illusion. If you go 100% there is no difference at all.

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
My previous play car was a modded 99 Z28. It had a cable operated TB. Before I got my Corvette I read all about the throttle lag and the controllers. To be honest with you I have no problem with the throttle response on my car. I bought a used Vitesse and it’s sitting on the shelf in my garage. Trying to decide if I even want to install it.
I don't have one, since between a 4000 converter and Hoosier DR's, only halfway decent track prep works well enough. Although it could be useful if I wanted to run at some track while I was on a road trip with street tires or the rare time when the prep was poor. With street tires, just dial in a negative 3 on the first pass to see if you need an adjustment and about how much. It'd be the electronic (consistent) no-spin version of easing into the pedal.
Milan is calling. Are you ready?

I put the black box in the console where the ash tray use to be. The wire is in the lower dash completly out of sight.

Coming from the era of when carbs were connected to your foot with steel linkage and throttle response was instant, the "floor it" lag on my C6 is very noticeable -- but mostly from a standing start. But being an old man I don't care that much anymore.
And also coming from an era when Saturday night (or any other night) street racing was the norm (and occasional trips to the dragstrip) doing good holeshots was, of course, crucial to winning. In this car I would be hesitant to race anybody (actually the opportunity has never arisen where I live) from the hole, knowing I would lose time because of the lag.
I have toyed with the idea of getting a Vitesse, doing the Bovine Tune, etc. but I guess it isn't that important to me.
As for the "problem" of wheelspin, my A6 will *NOT* spin the tires.

Evidently another clueless one who thinks they know better. You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to my informed opinion. I completely understand what they do, and you cannot do the same thing with your foot. You positively cannot move your foot as fast as electronics move.
I got the pedal commander for my C7 it's fantastic and you can change the settings with your phone .Get one you wont regret it.

I've enjoyed the Vitesse in my car. Lots of choices on how you want the car to react to your throttle inputs. I had a couple of issues of reduced power due to poor connection and perhaps some firmware problems, but I liked the unit so much I bought the second generation and haven't had any issues.
Sure these systems are not for everyone, but that's the great thing about a free market, capitalist economy. Buy it or don't buy it.

The CoW BOOSTER! is the ONLY way to go....
Don't buy the Vitnesse. The **** broke on mine and their customer service is crap. Absolutely disappointing. Will not respond to emails, and say they won't ship a replacement until they have a "spare" on hand.
I'd go with the COW if anything. I have my car tuned now so not needed, but when it was stock, there was certainly an enjoyable difference in TR until the unit broke...
Again, don't but the Vitnesse.

Thank you my friend..... 'm super busy this week and simply don't have the time to get involved here, so I'm gonna make this post
to "save my place in line" I'll be back in a few days with some info here.
I get pretty annoyed with stupid threads like this... Such as "Who is the best tuner???" Those threads do NOTHING but make people
(who don't know what they are talking about) create problems for everyone involved.
I will object EVERY time to threads like this where people compare MY CoW BOOSTER! to junk like the other throttle control products
discussed herein.....
Again, I very much hate when people (who don't know any better) compare my "throttle product" to "other throttle products" because its
the same as comparing a hammer to a screwdriver..... or dogshit to birthday cake.... They are NOT the same or in the same class
and as a result... YOU CAN NOT COMPARE THEM.
The CoW BOOSTER! is the ONLY way to go....
Get ready folks... I'll make some time in the next few days to come back and explain more here.
I'm out for now.

If it doesn't make my car go faster, I'm not interested (and these mods don't)
