No, but they did tell us today that their revised release date for shipping to the public would be 3rd week February. We are working on something with our installer but can't comment for sure about when they will be able to do the work. They are talking with Edelbrock rep. We'll keep ya posted.

Thank you for the update and for keeping us posted. I just hope this thing does not keep slipping.

While I won't be the first, I'll definitely be picking one up. This is the SC I've been waiting for, and knowing months ago that it was coming, was a slight factor in buying an LS3.

I definitely don't need convincing.

I could order a centri today. But I want a proper supercharger, not a belt driven turbo.
My chosen installer/tuner does the Dragon SC systems, but just the basic kit is at a $1000 premium compared to the Edelbrock.

Oh well. I guess I'll stick with my baby steps program of building the motor, rear, and trans up first and let the SC kinks be worked out by those that can afford to be more experimental.

If the E-Force DOES stay at $6499-6999, then I think that's pretty fair. It'd be even more fair at $5999, but who am I to judge?

^ patience is the key right now, to me the Edelbrock E-Force system will be the one to have for my needs or wants.
who in the FI industry designs, molds, casts, machines, manufactures and distributes their own product and have been doing it for 50+ years?

i can't drive my car now anyway so i'm going to wait.

Lemme get this straight. The next Eaton SCharger that Edelbrock sells will be their first. Yet they are somehow the industry leader. I'm thinking Magnuson might just be a little ahead of them. What am I missing?

you're correct the Magnuson was the first and i'm well aware of the high quality products they make, you can't go wrong with one of their systems. my statement is not bashing any of the manufacturers i just think the new Edelbrock system is a well thought out integrated system designed and built by a company with a long track record of high quality products.
hopefully with the help of creative financing i may someday soon be able to buy one.

Sometimes it is about the message. And what I get from Edelbrock on the E-Force is that is a system designed for good drivable power gains with effortless installation.
The subliminal message here is this thing is durable, quite, well integrated vs "we give you more power arf arf!" :-)

Cannot drive now either...sub zero temperatures, one inch ice. Got to catch the bus
But at end of February I am knocking on Edelbrocks doors!

I'm not totally up to speed on the E-Force but it sure looks a lot like the Techco SC that got everybody so excited recently.

Techco was looking like the killer street SC solution until they closed their doors.

Anybody know if Edelbrock developed the E-Force in-house or did they purchase the assets of Techco when they went under?

Not knocking Edelbrock - I bought my first BB Torker manifold from them in 1978 - love the quality of the company - just curious.

Developed in house. Nothing to do with Techco, I believe 2 of the Engineers from Saleen left and one went to Techco and one went to Edelbrock.

Edelbrock is going to come up and meet with us and they said they are going to be bringing their Vette. We'll get a first hand look at the system then. It was going to be this week, but seeing as how it's raining cats and dogs, I imagine it'll get pushed to next week. We are going to give it a fair shot, just like the other systems out there. I want to be able to have an educated opinion on all the choices available for these cars...

Thank You Sir….
I believe that’s what most of us want. A&A and ECS and some others (You know who you are) are by far the leaders in the supercharger world. I know that most people enjoy what they have under their hoods as they should. But it’s always nice to get unprejudiced information when you are talking about this kind of money. So an unbiased and educated opinion from both A&A and ECS will be greatly respected and appreciated by the masses on this forum.

I/We are looking most forward to your updates.

Yea it is also raining here although you folks are getting the worst of it. I look forward to feedback on the Edlebrock system as a possible HP package for my 08 LS3.

Has anyone seen where the Edelbrock intercooler is supposed to mount? Nervous that it's intended home may be right where the large Z06 style oil cooler resides on some of our cars...Grand Sport w/6-speed manual option uses the large Z06 oil cooler by the way. Hope I'm wrong.

I have been speaking to the rep here about LG Motorsports being an authorized dealer and should have things setup shortly.

Looks to be promising. I'll let everyone know as soon as we start on the first car.
