E-force supercharger
Can't wait to see some numbers.

Just wanting to keep it TTT
the sales rep (not from Edelbrock, another company.. I forgot whom) said the Corvette units should start shipping around the Third or Fourth of Feb.
Plus there was a Show Special price of $5999.00 for the LS3 corvette base unit.
.. that tells me there is some 'wiggle' room in the Previously listed MSRP of $6500.00
it took a lot of effort not to whip the ole' Amex Card

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
the real big question is...
on the 599HP kit comes with the z06 in tank fuel pump, smaller pulley and matching diablo tuner.
...why not use a BAP on the smaller pulley package instead of a Z06 pump?
My complete WAG is the C6 in tank pump cannot handel the extra demand for gas on the increased boost. So they throw in a Z06 pump and call it good.
My guess is the 18Volts will shorten the pumps life span, lead to its failure and may cause the engine to pop (this is my interpation only).
for me.. my car is a weekend warrior only, and I "listen" to my car. If something is not right or sounds/feels off I fix it.
im willing to 'risk' using a BAP on a stock C6 pump for the ease of not having to drop the fuel tank to installa z06 pump.
If/when the pump does fail. Then Ill up grade to the Z06 unit, and keep the BAP connected.
that should give me MORE POWER! Muhahahahaha

That makes this unit significantly less powerful than either the Maggie or the various centri units available that like the e-force do not require a hood change.
For sure you are blowing your warranty on a new LS3 GS and unless you do ALL the labor you will spend half the difference for the cost of a new Z06 with a warranty and no hassles.
For me these lower power levels have removed a LS3 GS from what I want in the end for HP/TQ numbers when I will also have to sacrifice a new car warranty.
I always did like the Z06

I haven't seen the provisions yet for the LS3 but here is a link to the Ford version... http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...ranty_Form.pdf

I also think Edelbrock is being very conservative with their tune and their numbers. It is basically a TVS2300, and I expect similar numbers from it given same boost level, etc. I have seen the cut-away of the intake manifold, and it is a good looking product. If anything I think it might end up being more efficient than the Magnuson TVS2300. I guess we'll see. This is the setup I'll be watching. Edelbrock has always made very high quality parts, and not having to change the hood is a big plus.
This is what I see going for it:
fits under stock hood (saving $1k or so)
competitive pricing
very reputable company that will be around for support
front driven blower (no jack shaft/rear belt to slip)
CARB legal
I want to see what this thing can do on a modified LS3 with 8-10 psi. Hopefully we will see these things in action soon. Release date was supposed to be this Wednesday. I don't see why this blower couldn't make big power with the right injectors, pulley and tune.

599 HP at the FLYWHEEL comes out to (10% drive train loss) 540HP at the rear wheels
lets look at Lingenfelter
TVS2300 w/BAP

.. about the same eh?
That is because that is a TVS2300 on a BONE STOCK LS3. Just like the E-Force units being showed.
Has lingenfelter/Magna Charger/KB produced much more HP on customers cars? YES
but they did it by adding headers, cam, meth, more presice tune, and a few hamsters running on the wheels.

I bet if one were to do the same to an E-Force unit (headers, cam, meth, and a hamster) we would see an increase in RWHP too.
Im not saying that the E-Force is going to be the 'King of the hill" by beating out al the other PD S/C.
My point is that they are damm close and add on the "Install it and forget it" style of Kit they are marketing.
they will have my business*
*when I get the money, and if this does not turn out to be another Techno debacle.
