You have plenty left on your 60'. This must be a MN6. Very good run for a show room car.

Nice mph on that run.
Knock your 60' down and you wil run much lower.
My 1st run was a 12.89 with a 2.30 60', when my 60' was a 2.02 it ran 12.55.
With these cars a good 60' is not easy though, that's for sure
Can you put down your C6 options.
For example:
Year
Manual or Automatic
Z51, F55, or BASE suspension
Good job,
Howard

Nice Run!
My 2005 Vert A4/3.15 times are very similar, my only mod is a Magnaflow catback which might have added better breathing up top.
My 60' = 1.92
1/8 - 8.145@89.52 (your mph was actually better)
1/4 - 12.57@110.67
My car actually accelerated harder the 2nd half of the track, maybe the magnaflow catback makes a little power?
I have no doubts you will run at least a 12.5 next time out, that 1/8 mph is better than both my 2005 A4 and my 2006 manual with cai and catback.
What was your rear tire pressure at?

I wish I could take my car to the track now that the weather is so much cooler. There is no doubt in my mind I could be in the high 12's with my bone stock 05 Z1 A4.
These C-6's are truly an amazing car for the money!
The best time I was able to attain was a 13.26 however I only took it to the drag one time and ran only a few runs.

Thanks yello3. That run was actually my second run of the night. The first was a 12.9 @108. The a4's 2-3 shift is killing me. I am contributing that to torque management. It takes forever in a day to get into 3rd and the power just isnt there on the shift but once it got in, then it got up.
I left the rear tire pressure as it was when i rolled in @ around 30 psi. Taking the car to get tuned without any mods so hopefully with the TM disabled and a little more horses I can break a low-mid 12. Of course it will be pretty difficult though without any mods.

Drop your rear tire pressure to 26# cold.
My 1st 2 runs were a 12.90@107.0 and a 12.90@107.7.
After a nice long cool down it ripped off the 12.57@110.67 on my 3rd and final pass.
Do a 160 stat with your tune, the cooler engine temps will help greatly at the track, especially while the engine temps try to creep up in the staging lanes.

Thanks for the advice. I found myself turning the car off every 5 ft up until I got in the box. I was able to keep the car at around 195 degrees. HOw much will a cai help with a tune?

It can't hurt.
I would just grab a K&N aircharger for $282 shipped and cut a couple holes in your lower air duct for free.
Combined with the Tune and 160 thermostat your car will FLY!
With the thermostat your temps never go over 185-187 even when the car is running, so cooldowns are not as necessary.

I was going to go with the vararam cai. How much more improvement is it over the k&n?
