I haven't read the entire thread so this may have been covered. I like to rev match (to spare the clutch and drivetrain) when downshifting in the twistis, but the OEM throttle calibration make that difficult. Will 'dis ting improve that ?

Yes it will. That's exactly why I got the Cow booster (which was the first to market that will do this). My slow throttle response in my 05 meant I couldn't bend my ankle enough to make it rev match properly, and it was so slow to respond that I was already well into the turn before the engine decided to rev up. With the booster or this mod, it revs on less throttle pedal movement and it revs much quicker which makes it perfect for heel and toe shifting.

I understand there is a device now that will blip the throttle for you too..but I bought a manual car because I like to actually do some things myself!!

I had some time to drive around this afternoon and get used to the settings. I settled on 6 and will never go back! Pretty much instant throttle response! What a difference! Glad I made this purchase!

How many of you pick a setting and leave it there ( maybe after experimenting for a month or so to find the setting you like) ? I think I'm gonna get one of these and may just mount the controller out of sight .....

Yep, this is what I did. I am the only one who drives the car, so I don't need multiple settings. I found what I like (SP4... maybe being at 600rwhp is why it feels best to me than some of the more aggressive settings, I don't know), and haven't touched it since.

I see no reason why you'd be constantly changing the settings, honestly. If I ever need to, I can still easily access the module and make changes.

I finally got some time to play around with this today now that the rain has stopped. The install and setup was very easy, it took maybe ten minutes. I find SP4 to be the closest setting to a 1 to 1 pedal/throttle ratio, ie. 30% pedal = 30% throttle. I really do not know how some of you guys drive around in the higher settings, the pedal acts like an on/off switch for tire smoke. I have had to adjust my shifting a little (MN6) because of the new calibration, I would give it too much throttle when changing gears. All in all I would highly recommend this.
I do have a few questions for the A6 guys with no other mods.
Does it change the shift points at all ?
Does trans shoot right to OD ASAP, or does it wind out the gears a little longer ?
Does the trans still downshift the second that you go near the pedal ?
Thanks.

I actually flip between SP7 and EC0 which is closest to stock but doesn't use a Sport setting. I do this because I want to flip back to stock mode and then fun mode literally when I push one button or the other. For me, it's an easy way to remind myself what a bargain this device is. If I stayed on one setting all the time, it would be easy to get complacent with it.

Has anyone seen their MPG go down at all? I'd think it would since the computer always thinks the throttle is higher than it is once throttle is applied....or maybe I'm totally wrong in my thinking?? lol

I just Googled that code and it relates to the accelerator pedal position sensor so that is definitely related. Most likely not plugged in all the way, or a faulty connector on the new part.

Reset the computer to erase that code, if you turn the ignition to run without everything plugged in or if u in plug anything while its powered up. You got to erase that code and start over

The longer this thread goes on is making contemplating on buying one of these. What is the part number of this controller that everyone is raving about?
