What would you like to see ?

It really is a simple install . Unplug harness from gas pedal and plug into the controler . Plug the controler wire into the gas pedal . Press two buttons to calibrate

I did remove my pedal from the firewall as it was way easier to unplug the wiring harness this way . It's only 2 13 mm bolts

When I was on the Vitesse web page, It said c6 2006 and up. I have a 2005.. I did email them waiting for a response but if anyone knows here, that would be great. Would this work on a 2005 as well since it's the same LS2 as a 2006? Thanks..

I read on the vitesse web site that the c6 controller is 2006 and up. I have a 2005. With it being a LS2 c6 as well, will this controller work on the 2005? I am waiting for their response but if someone knows the answer, that would be helpful.. Thanks..

The 05 has a different ecm "lone year" than the 06 and up. So as of now it will NOT work on your 05. I did read a post the other day that they said they were working on one for the 05 vettes though.

Thanks.. It's interesting how it's the same car, motor, generation, and the ecm was changed after the first year.. Does anyone else offer this type of mod on the 2005's?

Thanks,

J

Chuck COW does. I have it, it's great. Free with tune or $99 without.

Can you feel a big difference in the response? Also, is it a similar module as the vitesse in which you can set your ranges?

Thanks for the link..

I just traded emails with Ahmed , he stated that they are different and they are working on a controller for it

You will not be sorry you did it I can assure you .

I did find it much easier to remove the gas pedal to get at the connector . It's only two 13mm bolts and it will save you a lot of time and cursing lol

It still brings a smile to my face everytime I drive my car now

All you have to do if you think it's not really doing anything is set it back to SP0 and feel the lag in the throttle that you had

Just be careful setting it on SP7 until you get use to what it's going to do . Take it from one who knows ... it scared the crap out of me the first time I mashed the throttle lol

Default mounting it.

I am going to try the ashtray mounting. I read that someone used a metal wire with the controller wire taped to it to feed it through without removing the console. I'll try a metal coat hanger. Thanks for the heads up on the gas pedal. i'll take a look at that too!

Default my 2 day review

OK so I received my throttle controller and proceeded with the install. Since i dont smoke so the ashtray mod was my choice. Since the wire out of the right side of the controller I thought naturally i would drill a hole on the right side of the compartment. couldn't get it through and took ashray door off and broke the holder for the ashray but i noticed a gap at the bottom and fished the wire(opposite end of attached lead straigth down and came out where your left leg would be. Cool.
I pulled off the underneath dash panel. Dont be afraid to pull hard. You won't break it.
I was able to see the harness at the top of the pedal and taking off the clip and attaching the harness was a snap. mounted it inside the center console.
Driving: I am fairly spirited driver so I was a bit skeptical about the huge WOW factor. I started on sp4. A noticeable difference but not there yet. So. being stubborn i went straight to sp9. WOW!!!. You know how when you get get used to your pedal you know how hard to press it. Well i overdid it. Didnt break loose the tires but it was like i "goosed" it and had to let off gas. I am happy with the results and probably keep it set between 4-9.
I recommend this to anyone who likes more response because you will get it.! BTW I have a 2008 with CAI Ported TB/Intake. headers with catted xpipe and corsa exhaust. I have a tune from LEW so it didnt hurt the tune either.

I got it due to the fact I almost had an accident trying pull into morning traffic. Hit the throttle went to move in the next lane and the car hesitated.

All I can now say is problem resolved.
