Got mine in the mail today and I am very happy with the results. The pedal lag is gone, very nice product.

Brandon619 seeks the capabilities of this product, however the product does not work with his E40 computer.

I notified him a solution that gives the same functionality, albeit with three settings vs 9, that does work for his car.

That is what this forum is all about. Provide useful help to someone in need.

I for one, noticed!

I don't post here on the forum, usually, just so I can drew a little attention to myself. But then, I don't have the notoriety, nor qualified or need - having the title "tech contributor".

I do not want to use a computer that has been open...solder...by pass or what not...by anyone...especially from character with a tinted reputation to make it work.

Someone already reminded this side tracking...or suggesting the same alternative is not appreciated on this thread...would be nice to stay and share on the same titled subject matter...I would further suggest...avoid drawing attention - unless that was the intention...PMing is a very effective tool....

I too have an '05, as well as patiently waiting to get the plug and play Vitesse...when it becomes available.

^^^ the flip side of that argument is you are introducing a non-OEM component into your sensitive throttle by wire system.

Do you think if a similar item installed on a Toyota that Wrecked and was subject to the class action lawsuits that Toyota would have blamed that non-oem item for the failure?

Now of course Toyota would blame a non-factory tune as well. But tuning our computers is tried and true for over a decade to be reliable so I prefer that route to a non-oem device.

Again, I was just pointing out to my internet friend Brandon that he did indeed have another choice of he was interested. That's what this forum is about, sharing information among enthusiasts.

The fact that vendors can offer their wares keeps it free for us enthusiasts.

And the modified ECM and COW Booster are OEM approved. PM your suggestion which was a valid one in response to the post. End trans.

Regardless of which device you choose to go with, I highly recommend this mod. Complete night and day difference on my 05. Car now feels like I added a higher stall convertor.

I messaged Vitesse last September and he said he'd let me know when one was available for 05 so apparently it's in the works.

Totally agree with this Redhead! It's an amazing mod no matter how you get it. Worth every penny and then some. Particularly on the 05...the factory tune has the throttle blade activity slowed down dramatically. HP tuners lets you adjust the rate a little but it doesn't make a big difference. Vitesse or cow adjust to what we all love.

Hey your new, thanks for difining the original posters title. If you don't like what I post or others I am posting with you need to move on there internet warrior. I said nothing about a Cow tune, so I'm not sure who or whom your trying to police here but do not point your keyboard in my direction. Thank you.

I think he's talking to me.

I stand by my statements as I always do as noted above.

BTW the Sprint Booster has been out for years and is basically the same thing, except I think it has less than 9 different settings.

Have you looked into that device? Do they make it for our one year only, e40 computer? Perhaps it's another avenue to give you the enhancements you seek.

You're welcome and correct that I was trying to define the original title. Also you're advice was correct and maybe you should follow it. The word "your" describes possession and who or whom is redundant. Joe G was correct and his suggestions are right on. Also Vitesse is working on a TC for the 2005 model as stated in numerous posts. Thank for the post.

Well said, Jerry!

Following this thread, reading up all the positive reports just fueling my anxiety for an '05 version....

However, repeated side tracking with another product, essentially an altered OEM ecm's internal, by a shady character...just as bad as the same shady character, tried to close and lock up the Vitesse thread before Vitesse became a vendor in the recent past - these postings are like a welding flash burn in my eyes.....Yikes!

Appreciate for all those staying on the original topic.....I truly enjoy the shared positive reports, although my '05 is not yet supported.

I sent this message yesterday through the Vitesse website:
"Will you ever have the throttle controller for 2005 Corvette?:

Ahmed email response an hour later:
"Yes, actually finishing up just a few things.

Should be ready in a few days."
