can anyone confirn or deny that the idle rpm changes with each value 1-9. i thought i heard somewhere that for every number above 0 that the idle speed also rises accordingly. any truth to this?

its a digital ramp modifier, thats it. no idle change.

You're gonna like it. I've had one on my 08 LS3 for a year and a half with no problems whatsoever. Whole new level of fun.
I just got the "Reduced Power" and P2138 error. I love the controller, but having only had it installed for a week, this makes me question it. Anyone else had this issue? Made for a long trip home...
what setting were you on? I ask only cause I have done thousands of miles on 4 without issue. If maxing it out makes a diff would be nice to know (as far as throwing a code) - but hard to imagine what went wrong......

i had them after a couple of months and they sent me a replacement. No problems yet and i love it.
when mine went into reduced power mode, i pulled over and it took me 5 min to remove it and get back on the road without issues.

Yep , recalibrate it . Your intial calibration did not capture the real upper point ....
If that does not work , which i guarentee it will contact Vitesse ..
Mine has been installed for over 10,000 trouble free miles most of the time it is set on sp9
I agree with the great product and I am loving it. However, I have been playing with it. It was finally raining for the past several days so it has been on 0 or 1 just to control spinning on acceleration. On dry roads I have been running 5 or 6 and when this occurred I was in 3 accelerating up an entrance ramp merging into traffic. I find I really like 5 or 6 for regular driving. I have not played with 8 or 9 yet, simply because I have not had a warm and dry day combined with a place to play. I intend to do so this weekend though.
I will do as Dcasole suggested and recalibrate the unit and see if that solves it.
If it tosses the code again, (I reset them last night and all is good so far) I will contact Vitesse and post back.

Good Luck and let us know if it solves the problem , if not Vitesse is very responsive to customers problems

Well, threw the code multiple times today and does not seem to have a correlation with the setting currently running. I called and spoke to the guy at Vitesse and he was very nice. I going to perform a reset calibration, record the L & H voltage readings, and only run it on 0 all weekend and see if it throws codes and report back on Monday. I will keep the group updated.

I had this happen a few times too. I did reprogram and have been good for a long time now altho I just toggle between EC0 & SP6.
Chicago is under blizzard so Vette is hibernating for a good long while.
Mine was messing up again even after I did the recalibration. Worked for one short drive. I ended up sending it back to them as they requested but haven't heard a thing from them since. So I'm not sure what is going on. They were very good at replying to my emails till a week ago.

I had mine installed and had no problem with it for a couple of weeks.
Then had the reduced power code. Turn the car off for 4 or 5 min. then started it and drove away worked again for about a month then reduced power again. I went through everything he told me to do and then it started doing it again to the point it would do it every time I drove it. called Vitesse motor sports we did a re-install and he found that the High and low electric was off. He sent me a new one in less than a week.
The new one has been working awesome for 3 months so far! He stands behind his product. Very Honest and great guy!
