The knew one is working awesome for 3 months so far! He stands behind his product. Very Honest and great guy!

Yea mine was getting the reduced engine power as well. i had it happen at the worst time. In Des Moines Ia in rush hour traffic. I was able to get pulled off and unhook it and be on my way. I hope he stands behind it like he did with you. I did like how it made the throttle feel much better if only mine would of lasted longer.

Sorry, Usually would just say reduced power, but if it did throw a code I forgot the code # but they would say something regarding throttle controller.

I followed the Vitesse advice and reinstalled, re-calibrated, recorded the H and L readings and ran on 0 all weekend. No issues at all. I started playing with it today and am still having no issues. I will let this thread know if it starts acting up again.

Default Not to rock the boat, but

I just purchased a 16 Z and my thoughts were about issues with the warranty and if after even removing the devise, that the dealer might determine you have been screwing with the fly-by-wire and messed up something in the PCM or some other component therefore voiding the warranty? Any guys with new cars using this with no concerns?

Just had my GS at the dealership...,kept my setting at S5 and kept the ashtray console cover closed(its where I mounted the controller)... no questions asked and it cannot be detected if they flash or update the computer

absolutly no worries , had mine to the dealer several times , it's out in plain sight .... this thing absolutely can not do any damage to your a ECM . And you can be sure if it did for any of the users hereb you can be sure it would have been reported here

The worst thing that happens is the calibration might not be done correctly by the user thus setting a reduced power CEL

Oh I hear you! Murphy's Law right! There's always a small chance when your working with electrical and computers right! There are Dealer's out there that are very cool.
Others that are looking for anything that may look out of place.
But if something breaks during your Warranty, That's when they really start looking. Or something in the cumputer and they find the vittese! They will find away of blaming the problem on that.
I'm like you! I would be very uncomfortable making that choice. I agree with you.
Tim
PS : I have the Vitesse and love it. But My C6 is out of Warranty so no worries

You won't regret it. I've had one on my 08 Z51 for quite some time. Over 18 years and 5 vettes I have never done a mod that has given me better payback from the combined standpoint of simple/cheap/effective.

I just hope it arrives before Friday (Race night)

I know my best 1/8 time, curious if I can beat it and by how much.

Got it and OMG!

If you have one I found this fun:

Set your module to Sp9
Then drive on Ec6
While under light acceleration press the "B" button and hold on! LOL

I don't think you will have to worry about that because as far as I know they make it for only the C6 models 06-13

That's great! They can figure out how to get it to work on a C7 but still nothing for 05. Are we that insignificant?

Unfortunately for you, at this time the answer is yes. Just too few potential sales to warrant the time to solve the riddle.

Well all he (the developer of the thing) had to do is say so instead of telling me a year ago that it's being tested and almost ready.

I got that same response from both Vitesse and RevHigh. They must be waiting on some Chinaman to come up with a solution.

What an awesome thread about an awesome product! I was ready to order one after reading the first page, but I resisted and read this whole thread! I contacted Ahmed to make sure the unit is in stock, and he confirmed they are and shipments go out tomorrow (Monday).

Aside from one or two hiccups, that got addressed quickly, it appears that everyone from a couple years ago in this thread is happily enjoying their Vitesse Throttle Controller, that's awesome to see! I'm ordering mine today & also bumping this thread for anyone new that hasn't heard about this awesome little device!
