I just got mine yesterday for my new GS, and yes, the design appears to have changed to a ****. I'll install it this week, was thinking about making an install & review video for other potential buyers/users.

I'm planning on using my GS as the tester for a couple of months since it's still stock, and if all goes well I'll pick up 2 more for the high HP Vettes.

Yes the new model does have a **** to adjust settings. Its still small enough to mount in the ash tray compartment though. Just installed mine. Drove it up the road and could tell a big difference set on SP4 but went up to SP6 and its amazing. Had to come back to work so have not tried SP9 yet. Love it so far.

Where did you install the midway point little box? I know you mounted the end controls in your ashtray, I'm trying to decide the best place for the other little box. Can't wait to see the difference!

Thanks, true about staying away from heat. Did you run the cord behind carpet from throttle connection to steering column? Then where'd you mount the control, ashtray? Cord under console?

no need to get behind carpet , when you see the pedal assembly and harness you will see why . Just wire tie the cable to the column and orginal harness Much easier to unplug the harness from the from the pedal if you remove the pedal. Just 2 13 mm bolts ...save you from saying a lot of curse words lol lol . I did not mount my controller in the ashtray, i double face taped it to the dash to the left of the steering wheel.... much easier

I just used some Velcro tape and put it under the dash.

Ok. Then he has changed it a bunch from the button type to **** type.

I tried to do like I use to with the other unit. And set throttle at 1krpms. And slowly click it thru the sp1-9 and you could hear the motor rpm's go up on every push on the button. But the new unit doesn't do that.

Anyone else confirm this?

First thing I did after install and calibration was try this. I started at SP0 and held the throttle at 1500rpms. As I turned the **** up RPMs also went up. I saw a video that another member (may have been you) posted doing this with the older push button model. That's what gave the idea. I got same results on my car. Then I set it SP4 and could tell a difference just backing out of parking space. Went up to SP7 on drive home from work. WOW! Can't wait to try SP9.

Huh. I'm gonna have to check out my friends car again in a few weeks when I see him.
I don't remember an increase. But I was in a rush too when I seen him.
I liked mine. Yet with my cam now I don't really need it

Thanks, I just found it looking back at the pages. Now to contemplate if it's worth $179

According to Vitesse they did put a new tune in and you should not notice any RPM change when turning **** up or down. I guess I must have been unconsciously pushing harder on the throttle??
Maybe it was from worming in under the dash on my back to get to the connections? To much blood flow to the head?

I like the way it felt in my friends car.
Now I wanna check out my friends car even more.

Someone will always buy it. Lol.

I would think it will complement your cam. It just helps throttle response. Makes a big SOP feel difference as hundreds on here have said. Or you can sell it to subframebushings?

I've had 2 others one on a SC coupe. And anything over sp4 and tire spin all the time with the supercharger. Lolol. Sure makes burnouts fun.
I used eco settings at the track with the sc car. Helped off the line. But was having issues with reduced power a few times. Think the unit may have been bad. So returned it. Used it on the GS. And didn't like the feel with the cam surge so sold that one.
But I may try this new tuned one. Maybe the 3rds the charm. Lol

Edit: after I get the car returned that is.

Cool, sounds like you have a lot more experience with it than me. I haven't put 20 miles on mine with it yet. But was happy with it so far. Maybe your friend will let you put his on your car to try it?
