On cars that don't have this option from factory, it will allow you to select a specific RPM, ex: 3000rpm When you step on the gas pedal all the way down, the RPM will not go beyond that as long as your second foot is touching the brake pedal.
As soon as you remove your foot from the gas pedal, the car will launch and goes to Wide open throttle.

All I can say is "That's what I'm talking about!!"
I love this. I got it installed last night. I ended up not taking the pedal off and just got up in there to change out the plugs. Looked like more trouble to remove the pedal than to just go after it. Today was the real test drive. I'm keeping it on Sp9 the whole time! Why would I not? I've been wanting this response.
Now for where to mount it. Right now it's on the dash to the right of the steering column, but I can't see it while driving when it's there. The double-sticky tape that came with it was kinda weak, so I used some heavy duty double-sided tape. I'm attempting to put it in the ashtray but I'm not sure how to feed it through and make it flush in there so that I can push the button without it moving. Any suggestions? Do I have to remove the cover? How is that done? Are there two screws behind the covers in the center section or is there more to it?

I used Velcro to attach mine to the left of the column, ran the wires behind the knee panel. No visible wiring, and I can see/adjust it while driving.
And here's the finished product. I can now see it clearly when driving and also conceal it when I want to. Beside the wheel I couldn't see it since the wheel is so large on the sides. And up to the upper left (tried that too) the sun hit it and it was hard to read. This is perfect!
Above are the steps: 1) remove ashtray 2) remove tray unit 3) drill hole in back corner (if you pull the unit later - not sure why you would do that - then the inserted ash tray covers up the hole.) 4) run the wires through it and re-plug it in 5) reinsert ash tray unit 6) put strong double-sided tape on the left and right side 7) Enjoy!
I mounted mine in the ash tray too. Now my on.y issue is the ash tray lid will either not open completely or not close completely. I suspect the cable is getting in the way. Maybe too much slack cable just behind the ash tray holder? Anyone have (and corrected) this issue?

Nice. It sounds like that is "geared" towards auto tranny cars. Do you have anything planned for manual tranny cars ?
what happens when you shift and not let off the gas?
The "No-Lift Shift" If you already have that option will still require the use of the Clutch Pedal to engage any shift but this feature has nothing to do with the Launch Control option.

Mine closes and opens fine, but I do need to play around with the spring. I may not have put that back together the same. I just have to pull it out.
Did you drill a hole in the back of the tray or loop it around the back?

I'm still super ecstatic to drive my car now each day. I'll sometimes go for a drive for no reason, just to drive it. I used to be fun to drive before, but I can't say enough about this device. It made my Corvette come to life!
