Im sure this will bring a response from the riff raff....

Default Interested in Vitesse

Sorry for dump question, but i'm interested in the Vitesse also after all the positive feedback but was wondering if there was a chance of this making the car run too lean if it allows more air in quicker? just want to be safe, thanks.

You're SAFE.

Regardless of the product you chose, you're totally safe as the amount of air entering the system is measured by the

MAF and the MAP so "fuel injection wise" both products are equally safe.

I have not seen that question before, but I'm glad you brought it up as most people have likely wondered about the same thing.

Do you know if I can tune the car after this is hooked up or do I have to remove it when I get it tuned?

So how did you guys who installed yours in the ashtray area get the throttle cable to reach? I tried every way I could to reach, but it came up short.

Your doing something wrong because there is a ton of room for the controller to get to the ash tray

I put mine in the center council compartment, I like that it is hidden, and easy to get at, if i need to change on the fly.

Yeah, I was doing something wrong, called assuming. I ASSSumbed that the LED was on the wrong box, and that the AB box was just how you controlled that. I was trying to get the middle box mounted where I could see it in the ashtray, that's why it wouldn't reach. I should have test hooked it up to see how it worked first, would have been the smart thing to do....

Oh well, it's mounted now after the second time of pulling everything out. IT works as advertised, took it for a spin and the E settings are for the wife and if I ever valet the car. The higher S settings are crazy sensitive, you really have to be careful of the top couple ones, you could really get yourself in trouble on a curve.
