Hey Guys!

Happy Tuesday! We're back with the final installment of our journey to keep your C6 cool on the track. Make sure you head over to the Engineering Blog to get the specifics on our Corvette Radiator testing

It’s been three months since our loaner Z06 last bellowed throughout the shop, but our ears are still ringing. The C6 is the very definition (more like DEAFinition) of the American sports coupe. Boisterous doesn’t even begin to describe our loaner Corvette. By now, though, we all know how hot these cars are, both figuratively and literally. We’re finally at the point where we can test and see just how much of that actual heat we can remove with our new aluminum radiator.

Since the Corvette is built to spend its time at track days, we wanted to make sure it could handle the heat of the race circuit. With that, we ran the C6 Corvette in a simulator around the Hatch Brands Indy Circuit, all while recording engine load, and throttle position. With this data we were able to design a program on our Dynapack system that replicated the stress our simulated Z06 experienced on the track and applied it to the actual one here in the R&D facility.

Using the controlled repeatably of our race simulation program, we were able to gather a more accurate, and realistic comparison of how our improved radiator design keeps your Corvette cool compared to the stock equipment. For a look at those results make sure you head over to our Engineering Blog , and check out our full length video outlining the development process.

For those of you looking to upgrade your Corvette's cooling system today, you're in luck! Make sure to head over to our website to get in on the discounted presale!

The preaorder side don't work :-(
Will the cooler also be easy to install on a C6 base (2010) with no Z51, would be the last part that's miss me to be equal to Z51
Thanks

Which kit are you running specifically? We actually included a notch in our header plate specifically for larger intake ducts and some blower kits

Yup it will fit! We included everything so that it's a one size kits all type design!

We were having a few snags with our product page yesterday, but we should be back up and running!

Which cooler are you wondering about? The external air to air cooler, or running the lines for the integrated end tank coolers?

What is the fin density? I’m very interested and torn between this and a competitors product.

I know these are brand new so feedback from buyers isn't possible but is there any way for you to compare the Mishimoto unit to the Dewitts? They are running a group buy right now also and I'm wondering about the differences. Not looking to start a war, just want facts. Thanks!

I just went through the install guide on A&A's site, and yes, our radiator will fit. You might have to trim off some additional pieces of the header plate where the blower's intake feeds down, but since our rad isn't any taller than the stock unit, that's all the modification you'll need to make it fit in there. I'm also going to shoot you a PM too!

At the moment we're keeping the specifics on the core specs under wraps. What I can say is that our engineering team put some extensive testing to make sure our fin pitch and density specs are rated for optimal cooling. And while we didn't directly test against our competitors, we're confident in saying that our design will have no problem dropping the cooling temps from your C6! We're always interested in seeing 3rd party results as well, so once we do release this, and a test is performed, we'd love to see the results!

Hi,
the product page
https://www.mishimoto.com/chevrolet-...2005-2013.html
still don't work, so I can't say which are the different cooler or the differences between them.
Which one to use to easily upgrade a base c6 to a better cooling
Best regards

We do all of our research, development and testing here in the US, in New Castle, Delaware, in our brand new 27,000 square foot facility. We manufacture parts globally, here in the states as well as overseas, to maximize quality and value for our customers.

Sorry to hear you're still having trouble with the web page! What exactly isn't working for you and I can make sure our IT team knows!

To answer your question though, we designed this radiator to be a "one size fits all" unit. We included the transmission and engine oil end tank coolers, as well as a provision for the models equipped with the liquid to liquid oil cooler. Make sure you head over to our Engineering Blog post that outlines all of the features of the new design!
