I noticed that the favorites on the bottom left of my steering wheel did not light up and did not work. I first presumed this to be not an option for 1LT's. I took the air bag off and noticed that from the factory the plug was not pushed in all the way. I latched it in place and now the "favorites" work and light up.
After ~160 miles DIC displayed "Service Airbag" and the airbag light came on.
10/14 - Dealer diagnosed the problem as a short in the airbag ECM. 10/15 - New ECM arrived and is being replaced, update pending. 10/16 - ECM replaced, problem solved for now.

C7, Auto, Coupe - My HUD display seems to be tilted just slightly. The bottom line of green bars seems to be a bit to the right and what should be the vertical lines of the bars are tilted a bit thus making them display a bit of pixelation instead of being totally vertical. Anyone notice this or am I just seeing things?
I have a C6 also and its HUD as no issues like this.
I have exactly the same issue and was going to try to get it addressed at my initial oil change. Glad to hear someone else is experiencing this issue.
Dash lighting at dusk is definitely as problem. It's tied into auto. headlight sensor (I think). Problem can be demonstrated by pulling into my garage. Auto headlights come on & dash lighting goes dim with no adjustment. At dusk, if dash lights go dim, see if auto headlights are on - green symbol at bottom left of display. Wonder if GM sees this as a problem?
So I'm taking my c7 in tomorrow as the brakes squeal at low speeds when barely applying the brakes (15mph-0) I thought maybe brake dust or new brakes but this sounds like a bus. And worst it doesn't do it every single time so gonna have to recreate it for the dealer. Does it 8/10 times tho so shouldn't b a problem. Read around that it's common with ceramic brakes but def not acceptable on a 70k car. Will keep updated on solutions. Wish me luck!
It shouldn't on a 150k car either but the dealer pretty much told me I'd have to live with the noise from my ceramic brakes. They tried everything they knew and it didn't stop the occasional squeal. 911 tt....rrm
1. Nav screen / information screen goes crazy jumping from screen to screen.
2. Can not answer phone by push the "answer" button in bottom left hand corner of info screen.
3. Can not access "track" menu as. When you hit the traction control button twice while in track mode nothing happens. Car is Z51 w/ Mag ride.
All seem to be software issues if you ask me. I'll let you know what my dealer says ASAP. Car has 950 miles.
I'm driving a beautiful Chevy Impala from Enterprise.
Yours is doing things very similar to what mine was doing. My dealership said the owners car was also doing it. Sounds to me like Chevy has an issue from the supplier of these units and needs to get them addressed ASAP. I've heard of 5 different people now with the same types of issues with the center control unit.

I am having a problem engaging Performance Traction Management Mode. I follow the instructions in the owner's manual quoted below:
"In order to select this optional
handling mode, the vehicle mode
must be Track. Then quickly press
the TCS/StabiliTrak g button on the
center console two times. PERF
TRAC 1 - WET ACTIVE HANDLING
ON displays in the DIC."
I also found a you tube video that shows what should be displayed in the DIC.
When I try to "quickly press the TSC.." button while in Track Mode I do not get the 5 PTM modes on my DIC. Instead it I get the Traction Control Off symbol. The manual indicates that if the tire pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning PTM is not available but my system shows okay. I definitely have the option on the vehicle.
VIN 1560
Vin 2839...same issue but continued to push twice varying the
rate of push...not too quick...not too slow...and it finally worked.
I count 1001....push.....1002.....push....works everytime!
2014 vin#53 Premium Edition When in reverse and the camera is on, I can read a good portion of my license number. Both I and the dealer have looked for a adjustment, no joy. Am wondering if we are incorrect?
The few I have been in does the exact same... actually the whole '14 chevy line with backup camera's are like that.
VIN 1139
Same problem as post #10. Anxious to what he finds out.
On the underside of my C7 about 12 inches behind the front bumper and spaced across the underside are 8 clips with threaded bolt holes with no bolts or fastners in them. Did dealer or PDI fail to install something????
Talon90, this is a great thread. You just started and it has already addressed 2 issues I am experiencing Thanks
Update from dealer
1. Replacing Nav / Information screen
2. Replacing torque tube. I mentioned a rattling sound to them. It appears the tube is bent. Had to come like this I haven't turned the ires over yet or driven the car hard at all.
3. Track mode... Still no word on fix yet.
Expected date of return. Sometime next week maybe...
I had severe wind noise in the cabin. It sounded like it was coming from the right rear, at the hatch, but I didn't see anything wrong there. After inspecting everything, I noticed that the right front corner of the roof panel was sticking up higher than the left side, and there was water in the gaskets there. I pushed the rubber grommet on the guide post down, and this allowed the top to seat better. This helped diminish, but not eliminate the noise.
Looking more closely, I noticed the right side gasket was not quite as far forward as the left, so I pushed it forward, working from the rear of the panel, about 3-4 mm, which allowed for a tighter seal to the A pillar gasket. Note that it doesn't move easily.
And finally, I pushed and prodded the A pillar gasket until it was seated better. This finally got rid of the wind noise issue.

I had exactly the same problem. Took it to the dealer, he reset the codes and everything works fine. Supposedly related to a battery drain issue while the vehicle was waiting to be shipped.

sahowley, you should "quote" your original post in this so we can see what the issues were.
Ok so I'm not sure if my issue is an issue at all but when I open the drivers door the mechanism/ motor that releases the door cycles twice. On the passenger side it only cycles once. Has anyone else noticed or is this the correct way of operation?

You might be hearing the lock on the gas filler door. It locks when you lock the doors, and (I think, I'd have to go back and check the owner manual or my car) it unlocks when you open the driver's door.

I thought that I read a post by Talon90 that said something to the effect that the MyLink system was updated prior to the cars being shipped that removed this menu.

Then how would you put the car in track settings? There are a few supplements to the owners manual, but none that I know of for this function.
