Mine does this as well. Doesn't seem right, but I have not asked my dealer yet.

I believe you are referring to the post where Talon was referring to the customizable exhaust modes which is now only off or on rather than the multiple menu settings referred to in the manual.

It is a battery saver issue. The dealer needs to hook up the car to the computer and clear the error codes and remove the vehicle from battery saver mode.

Also to access PTM you need to step on the brake, and then push the button 2x.

Clearance between tire and wheel well is very small and I am concerned that those that are lowering their cars may actually be increasing the potential for this type of tire damage. Obviously I was unlucky to the tune of $425 for a new tire. Interested in hearing from others regarding this failure.
it may be covered under mich. tire wart. had two replaced with g.y.
warnt.ck . with discount tire to see what is covered . hope this helps
next time .the dealer didn't evem know of this and was trying to sell me one .thanks to discount tire the 3'' screw in the side wall was covered at no cost hope mitch. has the same .

Guys (and gals), this will happen whenever the car slips into V4 mode. I'm guessing because that mode needs the extra back-pressure but not positive. Mine does it too.

I have asked the dealer for a fix to the problem. According to the Owner's Manual, we should be able to turn off the auto dash dimming. It's in the Manual, but the option is not there in the Settings menu in the car.

Also, I have a problem with my heating system. When the A/C is on, the heat blows hot to the footwells. Also reported to the Dealer, but no fix yet.

BTW, my car arrived with the wrong spoiler (not for Z51) and no rear mat. They have been sent out but not installed yet.

On my prior MB SL55 the brakes squealed almost immediately; this is more NOT less common on expensive cars with high-performance brakes...Point is: they replaced pads; no improvement after a couple days. General Manager 'told' Service Manager to replace ALL pads AND rotors. Bingo...all perfect for the next couple years. Just a hint; turned out it was slightly out-of-round rotors from the factory...incredible.

I have the same double cycle, but I am wondering if the driver side is also releasing the gas fill door??

1) In reference to post #24. It isn't that HUD is tilted sideways to the right so much as that on the right side of the HUD there appears to be a "shadowing" effect where the pixels are not properly alligned. This appears on mine also.

2) My rear hatch will pop open when I open my drivers side door sometimes. Have not understood why, perhaps just a variant of the "double cycle" that others are hearing when they open the door.

3) Have misaligned rubber moulding around passenger side window causing excess noise when I drive at high speeds. Some water was noted inside car, but was using spray nozzel

With regard to item two, does it open when you press the button on the drivers door or when you exit. If the later, watch to make sure you right knee is not grazing the hatch release button on the dash. I thought mine was doing the same thing, but no problem since I became aware of my knee.

I keep hitting that stupid hatch release button with my knee. They need to move it or recess it in!

Default Hatch release

I've had the hatch release unexpectedly a few times while getting out of the car. I figure I hit the dash button with my knee or I hit the release button on the key fob accidentally.

Here's my "concerns" list.

1. My hatch isn't properly aligned. Right side is low, left is high.
2. Rear bumper on drivers side is sticking out slightly.
3. Hood isn't lined up properly, right side is about 1/8" higher than the fender
4. Left side bumper keeps "popping up" doesn't stay down and flush.
5. Brakes squeal REALLY loud when the brakes are warm. Starts about 20MPH down to 1MPH. Can be heard blocks away.
6. Rattle in drivers door at low RPMs also when bass heavy music is played. Rattle in hatch area at low RPMs.
7. License plate and side marker lights dim and fluctuate at idle. Not slightly but almost very noticeable.
8. Drivers door trim has a nick in the leather at the corner.
9. HUD is tilted, lower on right side.
10. My window "catches" on the trim / weatherstripping when I open the door sometimes.

Items I would like to see improved upon:

1. When bluetooth phone is connected and you don't hit the select button to "dismiss" it stays on the phone screen. Annoying!
2. When you are using NAV and it is telling you to turn or do something you can not change radio stations with steering wheel controls. Example, sitting at a light to turn on a street, you can not adjust stations with the steering wheel controls.
3. Auto Dim mode during dusk is very dim. The ability to turn it up brighter needed.
4. Move / recess in the hatch release button. Too easy to accidentally hit.
5. Automatic Volume control to be more linear when turning volume down. Very abrupt when it lowers volume.

Mine #1537 does the same thing. When I open the door a solenoid makes a sound then a double solenoid sound from inside the 1/4 panel behind the door.

I noticed this for the first time last night while driving at dusk. I saw it once before in my garage and didn't think too much about it, but driving is an issue. The center screen goes so dim it's hard to read. Another post indicated that the manual says the auto dimming could be turned off, but for whatever reason it doesn't work.

Any fix to this would be appreciated.

#2.......I have the same problem! Check that your knee is not contacting the release button when you exit the car! Worked for me!

Default Same issue on my Cadillac system

CF ROOF PROBLEM:
Roof showed splotches in the clear coat that looked like a cross between hard water stains and adhesive bubbling. Dealer buffed out the roof and they went away, but dealer is ordering me a new roof panel anyway in case they weakened the UV protectant coating. Pictures in this post:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1585165740-post57.html

BACK HATCH INNER TRIM PROBLEM:
Hot glue spills, metal deformation, peeling paint on the inside of the back hatch where the black plastic insert (that holds the glass) is attached to the metal of the hatch. Not visible from the exterior. Dealer sanded, filled, and painted. Not picture perfect, but good enough to accept delivery. Pictures in this post:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1585165675-post78.html

USB MEDIA DEVICE SOMETIMES NOT RECOGNIZED:
USB memory stick with approximately 6000 songs and perhaps 40GB of content inserted in center console port. Usually plays fine. But occasionally upon starting the car, the audio display tells me that no media device is found. I cannot browse, skip, or pause the music that is still playing from the media device! Resolution is to turn off car and accessory power and then restart. Has happened twice so far. I have not reported it to dealer.
I have the same issue on my new Caddie ATS but found out the system has to index these songs "each" time and with 6000 songs it is not a quick process...give it 5 mins or so before you attempt to access...
