Any solutions to infotainment screen not going up? I have tried global reset, the only way I can get it to go up is to leave it sit approx. 1/2 hour and then press the button, then it goes back up. Is this software related or defective screen?

Actually it is acceptable although it's very new for me as well. These are not conventional tires found on conventional cars. They're high performance very low profile very wide tires. They have different characteristics than tires most folk are used to. When you 1st start out and the tires are cool, they can/probably will make these crunchy noises but stop in less than a quarter mile. Even according to the manual it's normal and to be expected.
The option is to not drive a car that requires this type of tire.
If you're an owner, please refer to the manual. If not an owner of a C6 or C7 and don't have this type of tire, then please don't respond as not acceptable.
Just a quick message to all C7 owners: I just drove my 3LT over 1800 miles after picking it up at the Museum and have had absolutely none of the issues thus far stated in this thread. Reading as much of the owners manual helped, so I knew to expect tire noise as normal when I backed up with full steering rotation; knew that RPM will suddenly increase with rev match on downshifts; knew that DIC display would be muted during dusk & much more.
I can only say that I've been blessed so far with my car, and my heart goes out to those of you having problems that I can only hope will soon be rectified.
Thanks again for starting this extremely helpful thread and I'll let you know if I start having any issues too (knocking on wood now that I won't have to!).

great to hear, hope you never have an issue. let me just say I love this car and there is no other car in this price range I would rather have or even double the price for that matter, these issues will be resolved
The DIC dim lighting is a problem for me. VIN #1459. Near dusk, the DIC and gauges are dim at startup and remains that way for so time. The gauges light adjustment **** does not work when this happens.
I encountered this for the first time today on my way to work. I decided to go in a couple hours early and my lights stayed on for the first 30 minutes of my drive. (Normally they only stay on until I get out of my garage.)
While it was still light out (8:00 am), the lights were on and the screens were both dim. It was a little hard to read, especially with my sunglasses on.
I attempted to turn off the lights, but the screens both stayed dim anyway. I set the lights to automatic mode again and they turned on.
After a while, I guess it got bright enough out for the car to say, "Hey! You don't need headlights!" and the screens got bright again by themselves.
That was a little annoying, but not a game changer for me. The HUD was just as bright as usual throughout the entire thing.

Still waiting on details about this as well. I'm not lowering my screen at this point anymore.
I have about 350 on mine and haven't had that happen. The mode selector, when I'm turning it, seems to jump from Track to Weather and then when I turn the selector back it jump all the way back. After 2 or 3 times it quits and move only 1 section.
#3032 - Had this problem but stopped on its own???
Hatch closing issue...software bugs with with the following:auto memory recall does not seem to work properly as well as easy exit recall. Remote left in vehicle seem to chirp 3 times with car running and I get out of car with remote in my left pocket..... every time??....I will update here if I find anything else.
#3032 - I have the same issue with the memory recall, just doesn't seem to be working like it should - any solution?

The car I ordered had an invoice which reflected the carbon fiber exposed roof and the transparent rood, with the standard 5 piece luggage pack, but neither the carbon fiber roof nor the luggage showed up in time for the trip home from Texas to Louisiana. They are to ship it all to me asap, but I had to drive 550 miles to find out that the roof nor the luggage were there. They also lacked 3 of the 4 "Stingray" hub covers that go with the car, as well as the Stringray sill plates-which the dealer had in stock. So, I came home with 3 "Corvette" hub covers and 2 sets of sill plates, including the "Corvette" sill plates that the car came with.
However the dealer reported the omissions as he had said, and I believe the error occured at Bowling Green, as the car came without the luggage and CF roof and 3 Stingray hub covers. The Chevy customer assist team says they will coordinate with me and send the items to my house, shipping prepaid. Maybe they will send me another Vette to show their regret.

Great car so far just a couple of issues I did not see reported by anyone yet.
1. Dealer replaced both headlights as they were scratched by transport cover slightly but more importantly is that both headlights were somehow stained just under the clear protective lens. Knew lamps are are crystal clear.
2. Tire temp is always "Warm", never shows itself as "Cold" even when starting up this morning at around 40 degrees F here in Colorado. Owner's manual suggests not to drive these summer only tires at below 40F. I would thus expect temp to show at least initially as Cold.
What is anyone else experiencing in regards to tire temps ?
No apologies necessary, I just can't list all of the single issues that have occurred.
I mean, people are reporting that they get 3 horn chirps when they leave the remote in the car while it's running (which is normal function), and the inability to sync with a Genie garage door opener. I just can't list everything on a brief summary.
S.
Yesssssss! I can't sync with my Genie garage opener! Lemon! Just kidding. But seriously the only thing I heard was that if you call Genie sometimes you get a nice lady who will send you a new fangled remote and it will sync with our home link. Fwiw my 2006 range rover sport homelink doesn't sync either with Genie!
Ok so I got my car back. Let me start by saying I love my car. It drives amazing. I am so happy to be in it. I had a little run in with a ZL1 on the way home. FUN FUN FUN. Now for the not so fun.
The torque tube was replaced. That issue seems to be solved.
The Track mode as I called it or TPM menu now is operational.
The nag/informational system was replaced with a new unit, but still is not operational. An engineer is coming to the dealership on Thursday to look at my car and hopefully fix issue. They offered to keep me in rental, but I declined and took my car back.
That's my story. I am happy to have her back and I am sure Chevy will get the issue straight. It's just tuff to have this amazing machine for 24 days and have 10 of them sent in the dealers garage. I love this car the best car i've ever driven!
Thanks
Update
I dropped my car back off at dealer yesterday, 10-31-13, to have a Chevy field engineer diagnose the issue. They have decided to replace the information unit again with a new unit. They are expecting the unit to arrive next Tuesday. I will get the car back Tuesday or Wednesday of next wk. I hate not having my car, but the engineer didn't want me to take it. I'll give another update when I get it back. I have also added to the work order to have the rear diff checked and the tire temperature checked. Mine always reads warm. It never reads hot or cold.
Thanks
Had the rear differential fluid checked - it was fine. Drivers door was not aligned properly, had a large gap near front fender and very little clearance by rear fender. The dealership did a great job, it's aligned perfectly now. I love this car.
