Every so often when putting my left turn signal on I get a message stating rear left turn signal failure. Anyone else have this problem?
I need to let my dealership know about this.
Ya. I noticed if roof is completely off then the rattle in hatch seems to disappear
Hey Mike,
I am sorry that you are having so many concerns with your new Stingray.
I would like to help! Have you spoken to Customer Care yet?
Please PM me with your name, address, phone number, VIN, mileage and the name of the dealership you are working with. I want to make sure we get your C7 cruising along great for you!
I wanted to make another public post that we are here to help. If you would like to reach out to us with your concerns or questions please PM us! Sarah posted awhile ago on this thread but I wanted to make sure y'all remembered us over here.
Is anybody having any interior rattles or vibrations?
Vin 2839. At 1000 miles a constant noise in the passenger side
hatch area (very hard to pinpoint) when driving in the sport or track mode. I'm guessing it's because of the shocks being so stiff
it's absolutely annoying. I've got to get somebody in the cargo area while I'm driving to see if they can pinpoint the exact source of the noise..... it'll probably be my wife. At $66, 530, I wouldn't expect this to be such a constant noise. If it was intermittent I could live with it.

I had my car in rev matching mod today. Sitting at a red light the engine reved up to about 3000 rpm then dropped off. Neither foot was near the gas pedal. I turned it off.

I'm thinking rev match doesn't like sitting at red lights. Was your foot on the clutch?

the two noises that I have are driving me insane especially the vibration/rattle in dash if you go over the smallest imperfection In the road you can hear it, ive brought it to dealer, wasn't fixed obviously, don't get me wrong I like my dealer a lot ( Van Chevy AZ) and have bought a lot of cars there and the guy who works on my vette is a pro, maybe its hard cause car is so new. I know my car went to TN for final quality control maybe it should have stayed longer lol
I would just like to add that it would be nice if people would add the last 4 of their VIN when posting their issue or problem.
A few reasons...I will be sharing this list with GM Customer Service and they may help facilitate resolution of some of the recurring issues, in which case the VIN 'may' be helpful.
And, I wonder about the possibility of people who don't even own a C7 putting bad data out there. Maybe a far-fetched concern, but still...

80 cars
120 documented issues (posted on the forum)
16 issues related to center/infotainment screen ("goes blank", "will not close", etc.)
10 issues related to activating PTM modes (appear to be resolved by 5-minute dealer reset)
7 cars with paint issues ("runs in paint", "touchup paint", etc.)
6 cars with rear diff/axle issues ("no fluid in diff", "service rear axle light", etc.)
A number of people have commented about the dim lighting of the Driver Information Center (DIC), which appears to be somewhat driver-dependent.
Three cars had fluid leaks.
And a lot of "issues" such as "can see license plate in backup camera", "wrinkles in leather seat", "rear tire picked up a road hazard", etc..
I'm thinking of assigning each issue a category (1,2,3...) to gauge severity.
Honestly, I'm not seeing any REAL trends of MAJOR items except for some center screen/infotainment screen problems, and a number of minor issues such as DIC lighting, trouble engaging PTM, etc..
The paint issue is a watch item, but again, there doesn't appear to be a trend.
