Someone brought this up on a earlier post in this thread. My tire temp pock gauge always reads "warm" no mater what. It has been below 32 degree's outside on a cold start up, and it shows "warm".

Is GM aware of the issue? THanks

VIN 3495, 3LT, Z51. Same issue as previously frequently mentioned, dash display dims almost to black in low light. After driving out of my garage yesterday, during the daytime, display did not lighten up for miles. Brightness **** all the way up.

True, but it seems (other than the one you've mentioned) that most of the issues are small compared to the massively screwy issues that happened with the C6s (like the diff blowing up).

Of course, I came into the C7 expecting issues. I didn't expect as many, but certainly knew it was a first year and I would be a guinea pig.

That being said, I'm sure there's going to be a few recalls (especially for the wheel lock up thing) and there will likely be lots of little warranty issues throughout the years. I have a 6 year warranty now, but I'm sure I'll sell the car in 3-4 years for a new C7.

Sorry about your car,

The dealer said it's the differential......There have been several reports of C7's delivered without differential fluid. What was the cause of mine?
No idea yet. Btw locking all four wheels was CRAZY Scary!

That's crazy. How would the diff cause all 4 wheels to lock up like that? That doesn't make since. Maybe the damn e brake engaged?

It's funny you mention the e-brake. Yesterday at a traffic light, I put the car in gear and the next thing I noticed (after the car almost stalled) the e brake is on. My first thought was the hill assist had something to do with it.

Logical explanation is I somehow activated it while waiting at the light and never noticed.

Will have it addressed as well.
Dropped my Corvette off at the dealership today. Along with the infotainment issues are paint runs on the top of the car behind the targa top. Also no clear and not enough paint on both sides of the underside of the hood. on the center underside of the hood(top portion) there are paint runs. Advice to people ordering the Stingray mats. They are very, very cheap looking. The door sills and center caps look great. Called Chevrolet Customer Service as well. They were not very helpful. VIn 3931 253 miles on the car. Love the car, but not happy about the overall paint quality. It does not compare to my CTS on the minor finishing aspects of paint. Blemishes, orange peel, paint runs, unfinished areas under hood, etc.

I have also had my ebrake engage by itself. Thought I was nuts till you mentioned it. I've also had my screen replaced cause it was freaking out.

Also one day the heat and both heated seats turned on by themselves hasn't happened again so far. The post about all four wheels locking up is very disturbing. I had a previous z06 this car feels way better in every way except maybe power. But all these issues are taking away from the enjoyment

Default Heat Issues

Only after I set the temp in the mid-80's did a little heat come out of the vents. The cabin ambient temp was in the low 50's.

Had no issue with the air cond., but the heat is not acting right at all. Will have the dealer check it out, but wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience.
Also having heat issues, reported to Dealer. Strange, as one issue is heat coming out at footwells when in a/c mode. The other is heat not hot enough on cold days- fan is running too fast, and heat output is lukewarm. I know I have plenty of 210 degree coolant to work with!

Is anybody having issues with rattles or vibrations? I'm getting some vibrations in dash. Seems to be around the area of the steering wheel. Also some noise in passenger side hatch area

I have noticed these same issues with upper and lower vent temps in automatic temperature control mode. My old C5 did the same thing. I have a suspicion that this is a designed feature rather than a bug (I still hate it).

I think the cooler air blown through the top vents is supposed to sink while the warmer air from the footwells is supposed to rise, creating an equilibrium in the car at the desired temperature. In reality of course, it never works that way. You feel cold air blown onto your face and you feel cold!

The workaround is to take the A/C out of automatic mode and just use heating with the mode selector set to footwell vents only. Once you get up to your desired temp, you can try going back to automatic, but it will eventually start blowing cool air out of the top vents again when things get too toasty.

Before my C7 want hey wire I notice the car getting upset, I did see the parking brake flashing as the car went into the turn and all wheels locked down

The differential may caused the trouble to begin with but was also coupled with the rev matching malfunctioning and the e-brake going hay wire and activating itself

Very dangerous experience

I was in rev matching as well when the e-park engaged. Interesting.....

I'm usually in rev match. This seems like a much more serious issue then a messed up screen. Do I need to be afraid to take my wife for a ride on winding roads for fear the wheels will lock up at 80 mph? Crazy not acceptable. I'm becoming very frustrated. All I can say is be cautious guys. This is not a small issue.

Infotainment system won't save radio stations to favorite however.
