So I'm taking my c7 in tomorrow as the brakes squeal at low speeds when barely applying the brakes (15mph-0) I thought maybe brake dust or new brakes but this sounds like a bus. And worst it doesn't do it every single time so gonna have to recreate it for the dealer. Does it 8/10 times tho so shouldn't b a problem. Read around that it's common with ceramic brakes but def not acceptable on a 70k car. Will keep updated on solutions. Wish me luck!
I just took my C7 to the dealer and the tech went for a ride with me and said the noise was unacceptable and I must be PO. He called GM and they had no history because the car is new. The sprayed the usual anti squealing brake stuff and it's ok now but that won't last. When it happens again he will have it updated to GM engineering.
I have about 350 on mine and haven't had that happen. The mode selector, when I'm turning it, seems to jump from Track to Weather and then when I turn the selector back it jump all the way back. After 2 or 3 times it quits and move only 1 section.
I've had that happen too.
I think the selector is very sensitive and you have to get the hang of it.

The issue is that the display is a bit counter-intuitive to the control. In the display, the mode letters move past a selection window. But the control **** "controls the window". For example, if you're in Sport mode, and want to go to Tour, you need to rotate the control counter-clockwise (to the left). This causes the letters to move to the right (as if you are moving the window to the left.) If you are in Track mode, and want to go to Sport mode, you don't move the control to the right, as the letters will move, you again need to turn it to the left - the way the window "moves."
If you are in Track mode and turn the control to the right, the letters "wrap around" and you end up in Weather mode. Same thing if you are in Weather mode and turn the control to the left thinking you'll get Eco mode, you actually get Track mode.
To me, it would have been better for the control to match the visual movement of the letters. Turn the control left, and the letters move left, turn it right, and they move right. But I will eventually adapt and stop going the wrong direction.
1. Nav screen / information screen goes crazy jumping from screen to screen.
2. Can not answer phone by push the "answer" button in bottom left hand corner of info screen.
3. Can not access "track" menu as. When you hit the traction control button twice while in track mode nothing happens. Car is Z51 w/ Mag ride.
All seem to be software issues if you ask me. I'll let you know what my dealer says ASAP. Car has 950 miles.
I'm driving a beautiful Chevy Impala from Enterprise.
Ok so I got my car back. Let me start by saying I love my car. It drives amazing. I am so happy to be in it. I had a little run in with a ZL1 on the way home. FUN FUN FUN. Now for the not so fun.
The torque tube was replaced. That issue seems to be solved.
The Track mode as I called it or TPM menu now is operational.
The nag/informational system was replaced with a new unit, but still is not operational. An engineer is coming to the dealership on Thursday to look at my car and hopefully fix issue. They offered to keep me in rental, but I declined and took my car back.
That's my story. I am happy to have her back and I am sure Chevy will get the issue straight. It's just tuff to have this amazing machine for 24 days and have 10 of them sent in the dealers garage. I love this car the best car i've ever driven!
Thanks

I have the same exact thing happening!!! They used the anti-squealing compound and it lasted all of about 30 minutes. The dealer has called GM and they will be contacting me on Monday with the next steps...

I went through the exact same experience. Agree 100%.
My Nav screen was completely out yesterday. Drove around a bit in the afternoon and brought it home. Last night started it up to bring it into the garage and the screen worked fine.
Vin 774
I have the same problem. It sometimes goes black and sometimes flickers,
Any have wind noise from the brake vents behind

Just had one of the dash electronics problems happen tonight. First time in 990 miles. A brief engine off/on at a stoplight did not fix it. Turning engine off, exiting the car, and letting the electronics fully power down did fix it upon restarting the car. I do not use a bluetooth or smartphone connection, so that is not a contributing factor.
Symptoms:
No map on DIC when in Nav display mode (car icon only)
No speed limit displayed on DIC when in Info mode (blank sign only)
Unable to use voice command button on steering wheel. Displays indicated "Voice Recognition Unavailable"
USB stick media device played back with jittery, stuttering sound.
I will not report this to dealer/GM until/unless it happens more frequently or stays bad so that it can be diagnosed. Just putting it in this thread for information value.
Well, I picked up the car from the dealership yesterday. It had been there for few days due to the rear fascia not fitting properly immediately under the spoiler brake light. We had determined to simply epoxy-glue it in place rather than having it replaced.
Then, on our way home, stopped by a restaurant to eat, backed in to a parking stall and all worked fine. (1030 miles odometer) After we were done eating, stated the car to return home, and sure enough, the infotainment screen went blank. I turned the car off and on. I turned the unit off and one few times. No luck of waking it up.
I have not started it up today yet, but I am going to let the dealership know about it this morning. Will keep ya'll posted.
On the positive note, the smoked lights look great, and the engine valve cover paint and carbon-fiber hydro-dip job turned out outstanding. I will post some pictures on the Z-Ray Journey thread when I take some later on today.
I noticed the same thing this morning. First real cold morning in St. Louis and I had to crank the temp way up to feel the heat.
I'm having this problem also it was 37 last night and heater just would not keep up especially on the highway. Cylcled back and forth to manual but nothing much on auto on drivers side and my wife reported nothing coming out on passangers side at all. Vin 150 Nashville escapee had 25 miles on it when it arrived at the dealers.
My Corvette battery charger shows it is charging when it is plugged in but never shows that it is fully charged even though there is a light to indicate when it is fully charged and on pulse maintnance. I went away for 2 weeks and it still did not indicate that it was fully charged. I am concerned that it may not be charging. Could the charging unit be defective? On the other hand, the charging manual seems to indicate that this may be caused by a problem with the battery. Mine was the 209 produced so it sat for some time before delivery.
Has anyone noticed a faint whining noise behind the dash? Pitch seems to change up and down, but it seems there no matter the speed you drive (even completely stopped).
It goes away for a few seconds and comes back. I thought it was the radio at first. But I turned off the radio and can still hear it.
Drove the car home from dealer 3 days ago. It 235 miles way. I have driven it two more times and it has about 350 miles. I noticed a couple drop of oil on the garage floor. Not a lot but still not right. I looked under and don't see any oil. I guess I will have jack it up to investigate. Just hope it's minor.
I have Vin 766 2014 C7 z51 with 700 miles which also has intermittent brake squeal on passenger side. Happens in the last 10 to 15 feet before I come to a stop, usually after i have made made a number of normal stops in a short period of time. I am interested to hear what you find out.

Please do report it. This is essentially the same issue myself and another couple of guys are having. GM is working on a software update supposedly due out by the end of the year and any more data points can certainly help them improve the update. There is nothing your dealer can do other than report the issue to GM so you should not be out your car for troubleshooting.
We had a 3 hour drive from the dealership after picking up my Stingray. After two hours of driving the XM radio randomly changed channels and the A/C window on the screen kept popping up and down. Stopping and shutting the car down and restarting did not fix the issue. I will be contacting the dealer for resolution. Also drivers seat had exacto blade marks on it. Will have it addressed as well.
Took delivery this afternoon. After a thorough inspection drove the new Stingray 30 miles home(drove Great). Pulled into the driveway and could not open the driver door; either from the inside or outside. Had to use the door release on the floor. Drove to a dealer close to my home (not the dealer where I purchased the Vette). They are thinking it may be a software issue and will be driving it back this Monday for them to attempt reprogram of the software. When I try to open the door it sounds like the gas door actuator is working. I'm hoping this is just a small glitch and not a sign of continuing issues.......please pipe in if this issue has been experienced by anyone else......Thanks!
