I have a 7M and am frustrated with the memory seat issue as well. Sometimes the one press works and sometimes it doesn't for no rhyme or reason. However, yesterday and today I lost total power to the seats. The memory buttons were unresponsive and when I tried to move the seats with the buttons on the side of the seat they were dead. The same thing on the passenger side, no power at all. I looked to see if there may have been a loose fuse, but there wasn't a fuse I could find from the diagram in the owner's manual dedicated to the seats. Has anyone else experienced this or know which fuse is linked to the seat operation? Looks like I'm going to have to bring the car in to have it looked at...really strange that the seats would die like that on two separate occasions and then just start working again.
I recently traded my 2012 GS convertible for a Z51 C7 convertible. Neither doors are aligned properly, the lines don't match. The rear bumper is not flush with the left rear qtr panel. Ther were other panels that were problems, but those have been fixed by the dealer. The doors and the rear bumper, on the other hand, are still an issue with me. The dealership has told me that the GM factory representative says that the misalignments are within GM specification. My C6 had no issue like this. Since the dealership, and apparently GM, have basically said they won't fix the alignment issues, I've had no other choice but to hire an attorney to file under the Lemmon Law. This is a long shot, and more likely we'll in up in litigation. I have not noticed any mechanical or computer problem, but the panel problem bugs the hell out of me. I think it's an absolute disgrace that GM is taking this hard lined approach with me. I've looked at other C7s, but the hard top version, and they don't have the door alignment issues. The rear bumper is probably comon, but I have not seen another. Shame on GM for taking tax payer dollars to bail them out and not committing itself to a higher standard of quality and honoring a comment to their customers, which are the same tax payers that bailed their *** out of dumps. I wish I had my C6 back.

How about some pictures so we can see what you're talking about?
Sorry, but I have to say that when people start to rant and pull the bailout card it flags the poster as a possible troll, especially on their first post to the forum. You knew about the bailout long before the C7 was introduced so it shouldn't be an issue with you if you bought the car.
If you are legitimate, I apologize and look forward to the pictures so we the members, and Chevy Customer Service can try to help you.

Just checked the vehicle menu to see what my memory settings are set on and the only line item that shows up is "chime". The memory seat options such as easy exit don't even show up anymore.
Just posted three photos, but must be reviewed first - I guess.

BTW, customer service was no real help. All they did was send me back to the dealer. I'm sorry if you think I'm a troll, but this experience has been anything but pleasant. I feel pretty much like a fool for falling for all the hype on this car. The electronics and interior upgrades were great, but the MPG and the car panels are nothing to brag about.

The pix should be posted in my photo album.

HalfMoon, I posted the pix in my photo album. Please try not to dismiss these issues as trivial. To me these issues are completely valid and noticeable to anyone with a critical eye. I purchased the convertible Z51 on 1/18/14. From then until 2/21/14, I had the car for a total of nine days. In that time, the dealership body shop aligned the front fender, the hood, the left and right doors, removed the left rear qtr panel to replace the guide (which did not fix the alignment of the bumper). The doors are still not properly aligned either. GM and the dealership will not work on it anymore because they have deemed the alignment(s) within manufacturer specifications. So they will not be working on this car under warranty. A Corolla has better fitting panels than this particular C7. It had problems from the factory to the dealership. Rather than admit it, the dealership and GM are sticking the bill to me at the tune of $68K. I have no other choice but to litigate the matter. Please don't mistake my rant as a condemnation of the entire C7 line. I am just one person with one car. The C7 Z51 is an animal — its interior is excellent, I love the electronics, and it handles fantastic. In that respect, it is superior to my C6. However, I've been bamboozled by one particular dealership, and GM by proxy. All I want is a perfectly new C7 Z51 (2LT), convertible if possible. If not, I would settle for the coupe. But the dealership is not budging. But, that is what lawyers are for.

There are no pics in "My corvette photos" or your "garage". Please post the pictures directly into the forum. Also I assume you mean $6,800, not $68,000?

I see them. I can't really tell with the angles of the door, but I would not be happy with the bumper fitment.
Maybe talk to another dealership about the issue? I'm guessing if you talked to the original dealer and compared it to a carolla and came across like you are here, they probably didn't want to open any more can of worms. How you approach the situation can greatly impact the outcome. Go in with a calm and personable attitude and I bet you get helped. Go in looking like a headache that won't quit and people will avoid you. Dealerships are run by good and bad people, some are great and others suck, same as customers.
Good luck, maybe the customer service team can try to fix your issue with your dealer if you don't want to go to another.

The car cost $68,000. The photos are in my photo album, not "My Corvette Photos" or the "garage". Hopefully this works. If not, I have not clue at the moment how to post photos to this string. But I assure you if you go to my profile and access my photo album, they are there.

For the first three weeks, I approached the problem with a pleasant attitude. It wasn't until the third week did I start losing my composure. At this point, the relationship between GM and the dealership is pretty bad. But, they were not forthcoming. The car has problems. The corolla comment came towards the end of our discussion. Like i said, it is all for the attorneys to deal with now.
I sure hope this massive thread of problems gets fixed for my 2015 fall delivery. Version 2.0!
I really questioned myself buying the first year of the C7. In most cases, at least between the C5 and C6, there was not a major redesign. So flaws were not an issue on its début (speculation on my part). The C7 however, is a huge design leap from the C6. It was a gamble that I may end up regretting. However, I think the new design is awesome. The factory, however, will need to step up its quality control. The car I have should’ve never left the plant. Even with it’s defects though, it is a fantastic car to drive. It really is a driver’s experience. By 2015, they should tighten up their processes. You were smart to wait.

I am told even the later (post January 2014) 2014s are significantly improved. New hardware, firmware, and software has tightened up the car in most ways. Hope that's true...

I never buy version 1.0 of anything, so glad I waited. However, it's a lllooonnnngggg wait. They say Aug finalize order and Sept delivery, but I'll believe it when I see it. Since I'm retiring Aug 30th this should be perfect.
3K under MSRP at Dave Smith Motors in Idaho.
Any thoughts on best resale color combo out there? I'm thinking color CRT with chrome wheels for resale, but Arctic White with black wheels is a stunner.
Hi Guys,
My C7 is light years ahead of my 13 Grand Sport. Would like to know about when it was built it is somewhere around 10,500 built guessing around October? My car is quieter, smoother riding, better handling than my C6 getting old so glad I didn't wait it's not perfect but there was only one of those and he wasn't a car. Oh, yeah, almost forgot gas mileage is super.
Blessings,
Al
