I brought my car into the dealer yesterday to have a whole host of small issues looked at. This is one of them. We'll see what they find out.

As for the details:
12/9 - Purchased car

12/18 - Car goes in for Low Rear Diff Recall. No issues found for me.

1/7 - Car needs HVAC Flash update
- Needed my heated seats checked (they still suck post HVAC update -- dealer said the HVAC update might make my seats warmer. I don't think they did
- Needed my the seat cover replaced on my drivers seat. I got a piece of clothing caught on the Corvette emblem near the headrest and it broke. Apparently you can't just buy this emblem (I bet it costs like a nickel to make). Instead, they needed to replace my entire seat cover. This is ludicrous if you ask me
- I found two chips under my mirror. More details in this post (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...r-mirrors.html)
Dealer fixed these issues and repainted my mirrors. Car was gone 8 days.

1/15 - Went to pick up my car, looked at the mirrors, and saw the White paint they used didn't match the body color of the car. Dealer said GM has used the same paint code for Arctic White for 22 years. Dealer h Had to reschedule to drop off again

1/21 - Dropped off car with expectation to pick up on 1/24 with correctly painted mirrors

1/24 - Dealer says the paint code from GM doesn't match the paint they mixed to match the car. The need to keep my car another week while a rep from Dupont comes out, uses a special camera to analyze, match, and then order a custom batch of Arctic White to match my car. Finally got my car back just after the Super Bowl.

Glad I don't need to do anything for the Easy Exit, but now that I get it, I see why people are upset at the feature. It's *** backward.
can you elaborate on your last sentence? i can't get my easy exit to move seat back at all, and it I move it too far back while trying to set it, then all other memory settings are erased.......

Looking forward to hear what you've learned.

Other than the seat memory issues, my car has been flawless. I'm sure that probably raises my angst over that one issue, but it is what it is.

NPP is the performance exhaust option. The change at 25 MPH or so is usually when the fuel management system changes from 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder mode. You'll notice it a lot more if you have the A6.

Thanks, That is helpful. I am looking at the 7 Speed, and most definitely the performance exhaust (love that sound!).

Yes I had this after an auto cross event. A spark plug came loose. All was good after they pushed it back in. I felt kinda dumb for not checking that myself.

I see license plate plus view out the rear, too. Maybe it is a wide angle lense so you can see what's right up against eh rear of the car? Did you ever hear back from anyone in the know on this? Don't know if it is a design feature or problem.

I've not figured out/calibrated the lines.

NDOTTI: Never heard back from anybody at customer service but after talking with several other owners, that seems to be the way they all are

Mine also shows some of the plate. I do find that is OK since it provides perspective on how close an object is.

Default Dealer completed 2 Recalls yesterday.

I took our C7 with 2000 miles to the Dealer yesterday. Was there about 8 hours. They did a software update (reflash) per Bulletin PI1101B to reprogram the Body Control Module, HVAC Control Module, Radio, & Instrument Panel Cluster.
Also checked the Rear Differential Fluid Level per Campaign 9090 9100238. They had added fluid back in November and found it was OK at this time.
They reprogrammed ECM & IPC according to Campaign 9090 9100348 "Engine Protection Mode Activated During Aggressive Drive".
They checked a couple other minor issues but couldn't duplicate them.
On my 90 mile trip back home the Nav Screen, Instrument Cluster, and Radio functioned properly and the car seemed to run better in Eco Mode. The AC light still stayed on all the time in Auto mode, but the system seemed to keep the temp more consistent.
My Service Consultant was terrific and they did give me a rental to drive for the day.

Sorry, never got around to taking photo, but did take it to the dealer and it appears they will be replacing the targa top.

They found nothing wrong with my seat memory.

They replaced my radio display with a new upgraded part because it wouldn't go up every time. They found a loose connector to my right exhaust valve (NPP) and re-routed the wiring to fit correctly. (Does that mean it wasn't measured right from the factory?) They also checked my diff fluid (part of one of the recalls) and said my diff fluid was low (they refilled it). They also said that my radio station changing should be fixed (it wouldn't always work). I haven't tested it yet, but I would have a hard time believing it's fixed since I know (as a programmer) what the issue probably is.

There were other things checked, but I have a feeling I'll be taking the car in for more work later. They gave me a 2013 Camaro as a loaner... That made me appreciate my C7 more than I'd ever realized I could appreciate it. I liked my C7 before. Now I love my C7. I wrote an Email to Chevy stating how incredibly crappy the rental Camaro was and how it aggravated me at every turn.

I really love the car.

However hate the memory seat issues with the Manual car. Really pisses me off. The radio memory buttons suck too. Way to much effort and time with eyes off road to get to Favorites and even worse to scroll to the next five.
