You, like me, have probably tried all the options but as I recall, I have the Easy Exit Option turned off. The Owner’s Manual is not very clear on what happens with various options. There are enough that you have to make a matrix table and try all permutations!

You can set it so it doesn't do that in the vehicle personalization menu (see page 3-5 of the Owner's Manual).

Seat memory still the way it has been, have to hold the memory recall button as the seats and wheel go back to the set position. Believe I'll give up trying to fix that. Tried everything Chevy Customer Service suggested and Chevy dealer service couldn't help. If anyone with a 3LT standard shift and can hit the button recall only once, like it says in the manual it should, without having to start the car 1st, let me know!
I found that if you hold the memory button down for any length of time, it goes into the manual mode. Try hitting and releasing the button really quick. That seems to work for me. I know there is supposed to be a mode that sets the seat when you turn on the engine, but I haven't tried that yet.

Tried just stabing the button today, still the same deal of needing to keep the button pushed. Appears it may be different for a std shift.. Found I had to have the easy exit on, thought I remembered it being off. When it if off it does not go to my programed exit position when leaving.

Mine acts the same way (hold the button the whole time, every time). Contact someone on here from customer service with your concerns. Maybe if enough people complain they'll come up with a fix. I don't believe anyone with a manual transmission C7 is happy with the memory seats

My 2008 C6 manual worked fine but my 2014 C7 manual doesnt go forward when the button is pushed. you have to hold it to go into your driving position. Sucks..

Mine is the same way and I thought I must have had a setting messed up, but that's not the case. I'm unhappy with the current set up for the 7 speed. Hopefully this can be fixed.

This is an easy one ... go to "settings" and select "Seat to return to driving position when the ignition is turned on" ..... that way, you can get in without obstruction.

Yes, but the seat is often too far back to easily reach the clutch to start the vehicle. It would be much better if the seat returned to the driving position after you get in and close the door, not when you open the door to get in.

That also can be adjusted by way of your "exit" position setting .... do exit quite so far back???

I am not sure if this works on 7 speed shift cars. Please tell me where the "settings" is located.

That is not an option on the manual transmission C7's, only the automatic.

i agree. The owener's manual says for an automatic the car needs to be in Park and for a std trans the parking brake must be engaged - to have the memory button work with one push of the button. Perhaps the manual is just incorrect or the standard shift software is wrong. Would like to know which.

I went to the dealer for the software update. I hoped that it would solve the seat problem. They told me that the way my seat returns to normal position when I open the door is correct for 7 speed cars.

Even if the one touch would work I could live with that, but have not got that to work. Must hold the button the whole time. This is so basic it's dumb, adjust the seat before you start the car, especially with a standard transmission.

Picked up Laguna blue Friday...On drive home, I noticed at idle, revs would drop (just a little) and then pick back up. At 23-25mph, car would bog down, NPP would shut off, and then would pick back up. Same thing happened at 43-45mph then resume OK. 2nd 14 Vette, (long story). Put 821 miles on 1st and it ran like a dream! Dealer seems stumped! I've seen 3 other similar post, but I haven't found any follow up on this forum. Any thoughts?

By any chance is your parking brake off? If it is off, you have you press and hold the button. If it is on, then a quick press is all you need.

Mine does not work 1 touch with E-brake on.

After reading the follow on posts I am confused..... I will have to go back and re-read. I "lucked on" to the easy answer right away for my C7 A.

Just checked my car: Settings for this are accessed on your center NAV-Audio screen ... Go to "Settings", then look for "comfort and convenience, - then "auto on at ignition". Select; that, then, brings the seat up to your memorized driving position. (They are referring to all of your memorized personal settings including the seat position).

Can't imagine why this would differ between 6 sp A and 7 sp M...... doesn't make sense? Hope this helps.

I know it makes no sense, but M7 does not give you a option in screen. Only option is on or off. On moves the seat ahead when you open the door before you get in. No sense at all.
