You may want to check for stored codes. Codes can be stored without turning the dashboard Check Engine light on, but in this case, it's not likely. Many Auto Parts stores will do this free. Whoever does it would probably be happy to get a look under your hood.
This is a lot easier than taking the car in to a dealer to find out what the problem is. This may very well be an issue that will require a visit to your dealer, though.
Problem was gas pump shutting off after filling about 1/2 a tank, tried 3 different gas stations (all top tier) thinking maybe problem may be with the pumps. Dealer, working with Chevy Tech Assistance, identified problem as the fuel canister being restricted and the evaporative emission canister had to be replaced (Part number is 22785596). Reference TAC case 71-1325644048. Dealer was able to fill gas tank completely. Will be able to confirm problem solved when I next fill up, will post feedback at that time. Car is C7, non Z-51 with manual transmission.

Had this problem one time with the with my Non-Z51 A6. If it happens again, it is off to the dealer I go...
Wonder what the predicted month and year is for getting a C7 that is virtually trouble-free, that is at least up to normal GM levels of consistency and functionality?
I have waited to consider adding C7, and this thread makes me think it is still too early, unless I enjoy frequent trips to the dealer, and I really can't say that I do. I do read this thread waiting for the day it appears to be a dying topic. I wish for the thread where owners are praising the BG plant getting it all lined out. Not seeing that for now.
Otherwise, I do wish I had the cash to buy one for me and one for my son, and a Morgan to boot, so the Morgan provided a low quality benchmark that would make the C7 quality seem great. And, I especially wish for that garage!
I wish you all good luck, and like many other Corvette enthusiasts, I appreciate the frank detailing of the myriad problems that C7 owners are airing on this thread and on other internet locations.
I have issues with my Infotainment Center as the system has somehow paired, stored and plays my IPhone music possibly from ICloud without wanting it to do so. Is there a way I can delete the music from the system and keep ICloud from playing, but still have use of my phone hands free ? Any help much appreciated!
I have used in combination, and individually, my iPhone 5s, iPod Classic, a thumb drive, and even a (gulp) portable CD player.
I now simply have the iPod Classic behind the screen and nothing else.
Whether I browse, or whether I use a voice command, there is no correspondence between the song title I select/request and that which is then played.
This is actually very funny to the family since the random song that is played upon request could not be a misinterpretation of what I am requesting. For greater amusement, in the course of making a selection, I will suddenly receive "goodbye," and there are always long delays.
I plan to use only my iPod Classic going forward Has the infotainment system built an inaccurate database that needs to be rebuilt? and/or how?
My personal experience says that by the 3rd year of production most of the major issues have been resolved. The wild card these days seems to be the electrical system. There is a never ending possibility of gremlins showing up. After all, these are more and more rolling computers. My 2004 C5 was the most reliable of all the cars I have owned, But by the 8th year of production it should have been pretty well sorted, and it was.

MYRIAD?
Where do people come up with this nonsence!
The C7 is an awesome Corvette.
I just turned 7,500 miles with very FEW issues - NO MYRIAD!
Get a life!

Agreed. I have had mine since October of '13 (one of the first 6000 built) and it is a world class car. Glad I bought it when I did and have been able to enjoy it all these months. Simply Awesome design and engineering. Kudos to GM. They have won me over from the German side.
Agree that any reasonable person will disregard most

of what is posted on this tread....is it possible that you have to wait 2-3 years to get a car with all the "bugs" worked out? Of course not. Cars are a complex piece of machinery and stuff can break or go wrong....but if you are waiting until it is perfect and will never-ever-ever have any type of problem...why don't you just admit you aren't going to buy one....it is the same logic you hear from the people that have the CTL (Camaro Tail Light) syndrome. Just buy one...it has a terrific warranty and they will fix it if it breaks. I have had mine 5 months...zero problems, with no squeaks, rattles, leaks, etc. I have over 10 track days on the car and 7500 miles. I bought it to drive...and I do.
I have had my C7 a few months and with the exception of a minor stress crack in one of the body panels that was immediately fixed under warranty, nothing and I mean NOTHING has gone wrong with the car. I just don't know what all the drama is about...
With any of these issues listed here, it would be interesting to know when your car was produced. Sometimes, these problems are solved and are fixed during the year of production eliminating the issue in the future. For instance, there was a software issue with the first cars produced, but was corrected and the next cars off the assembly line did not have that issue.

I have one of the first 1400 built and it is the best car I've ever owned. You are on an online forum, on a thread where issues are posted. It's great to share the issues but I suspect that the majority of owners are perfectly satisfied.
Take into consideration that almost 35,000 cars have been built so far, I think it's a darn good car with very few issues. I know that not all issues have not been reported on this forum, but most have. Allot of new cars have problems but we don't subscribe to all of those forums to know what their issues might be. Who knows, they may be allot worse than what the C7 has. Go buy a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin or any other fine high priced car and say they don't have issues too and at a higher price.
