2) Yes, dealer fixed it by reseting computer, Logic Lock, I think. They basically touch the negative battery cable to the attached positive cable and terminal. It resets the car's computer. Take it to the dealer they will get it fixed no problem. I think this has to do w/ PDI not being done correctly. I had this issue also.
sahowley - Awesome, thanks for the info. I'm taking it in next week and will let them know.
Kirbsc, my vin is slightly more than your's and oil life is at 30% with 1200 miles on car. May be time passage rather than usage controlling computer. I just scheduled my dealer's recommended first oil change (1000 mi) for next week. Price is supposedly $170 for oil change.
Has anyone experienced this issue that there is no fix? When selected to fresh air you get warm engine air? My dealer says it is due to the configuration of the Stingray where the engine heat is heating the outside air within the engine compartment. I have read before that other owners had this problem and wondered if it was resolved.
Oil changes are free for the first two years when you follow the computer prompts in the car, which normally would occur at about 9500 miles. If you want to wait that long.
My Vin is 2041 and other then my Infotainment screen being replaced it's been good. I do have two areas of concern that I wanted to post to get some feedback. 1) I've 2700 miles and the OIL shows its at 18%, mine is the Z51 package but still thought that's a lot of oil usage. Not sure if it came low from the factory or there is a leak.
2) I can't put it in Track mode and go to the different PERF TRAC modes (1-5). Has anyone else experience this?
Thanks y'all.
The % oil is how much time is left for an oil change, not how much was used. If you make a lot of short trips it will cause it to require a change at low mileage.
Do you have magnetic shocks? If not that is why you don’t have the TRAC modes.
Just picked up my new C7 and the first hot day with the windows closed I was Greeted with the wonderful smell of GLUE and adhesives. I have been leaving the windows open in the garage - this helped a bit but still not that wonderful "new car smell" I was hoping for.
...Not sure this is unique to C7. Have owned several new cars- nature of the beast. Some research says these new car smells might be toxic as a result of adhesives. Problem solver- drive real fast with windows open!
Enjoy your new Vette, it will get lots of looks!

Last night as I was driving home the entire gauge cluster went black. The good news is that it came back in a few seconds.
I did have the HUD working just fine.
No problems today, but that black out wasn't fun.
Anyone have this happen to them?
My car's LCD in the cluster goes out along with the HUD intermittently. Mysteriously the system comes back online but not before the dash lights flicker. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't replicate the problem. I picked up the car the next day and it was out again. Unfortunately their lead tech was off that day. The service adviser said he hooked up their scan tool and it couldn't read the cluster. I decided to take it home and no longer than 5 minutes later it came back on with the HUD. Next day I brought it back and they couldn't find the problem. They tested my battery and it tested good. Before I purchased the car it was on their showroom with a dead battery. I'm SO frustrated after spending so much money. GM customer service please help! Any ideas??

My dealer changed my oil for free after 1500 miles. Said I get 4 in two years and I can use however I want.
My dealer said that the % oil life has to be 40% or lower for the free oil change.
My dealer says less than 20% but others have posted that their dealers did the change regardless of what the oil monitor displayed. Just depends on the dealer.
My Nav screen was completely out yesterday. Drove around a bit in the afternoon and brought it home. Last night started it up to bring it into the garage and the screen worked fine.
Hi: Just got back from a drive of about 1hr long in 90 degree F and the NAV screen and HUD are out as is the entertainment centre.
I will be taking it in to the dealer but was wondering if your problem came back and if so what it turned out to be?
UPDATE - PROBLEM RESOLVED
The dealer fixed the problem that was identified as a "calibration problem" at no charge. Specifically the description reads
"Reprogram IPC with calibration update and USB update / after completion note stating to update radio, HVAC, and BCM/ setup each module/ cluster operation properly / with service rear axle light on / scan test for codes U0415 (71) relearn rear axle module with update and set control module from serial number (ok) clear codes and verify operation"

Steve,
I realize that intermittent concerns with the heads-up display can be very displeasing. Although we aren't certified technicians, we may be able to reach out to the dealer to see if all avenues have been explored to diagnose your concern. We can also help coordinate a diagnosis at a second GM dealer if you'd like. Feel free to message us privately if you'd like to proceed, or discuss this situation further.

I’m sorry to hear that your Infotainment Screen is not working as desired, but I would be happy to look into this further for you. Please PM us your full VIN, contact information, and the dealership name/location. I will keep an eye out for your response. Thank you!

I am having the same problem. I thought that I read a post that said something about the screen hitting the bezel? Don't know what that is.
Also, my seat/steering wheel is not always returning to the memory setting when it should. I keep pressing the "1" button and little by little they will move.
Have a base stingray manual, with npp dual mode exhaust . In track mode, exhaust close sometime at cruising 30-70 mi/h . Put full throtle sometime stay close. Same thing in sport mode. Disable sound system in setting mode and same thing sometime exhaust close. Going to dealer check the error, no code. Software is up to date. Any idea?
