Infotainment Screen after driving for a while will start to flicker and even completely turn off. Took to dealer who installed latest software update. Issue has not resolved. I also clicked the down and up screen button to try and reset the screen. This would work sometimes. But not always. My VIN is 03316.
The seat issue is caused by the seat being back too far against the limiter switch. To remedy, set the seat all the way back. then move forward slightly. Now set the easy exit button on your door panel (Last button to right). Next time your exit the vehicle it should only go as far back as this setting. Now the #1 button should function normally.
The throaty noise you are describing sounds like the NPP exhaust. If you have the feature, then that is a normal sound if the exhaust is open.
Assuming that it is not rubbing anywhere- then it sounds like the striker on the inside door jamb just needs aligning for the door to shut and latch properly. That should be pretty easy for the dealer to do. Do yourself a favor, ask the service manager for a tech that is really good with door adjusting and fitment. Good luck.

So this has happened twice now and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
My VIN is 16830
I have a NON Z51 with automatic transmission and the NPP exhaust with 2100 miles. In Sport mode both times on dry, smooth pavement.
From a full stop gave it gas intending to utilize the amazing power and speed of my new baby. The acceleration began smoothly at first but then became extremely jerky ... Not even like it was shifting through the gears as the jerks were much to close together and quite violent.
I took my foot off the gas but the engine continued to remain at high revs and accelerate like my foot was still on the gas. I tried applying the brakes and the engine was still revving so I had to apply more pressure to the brakes to try and slow down. I almost ran into the back of the car at the next lights because the engine didn't want to down shift.
I obviously need to take her in ...
Any others experience this?
I think I had the same experience. looked at the shift handle to make sure it wasn't in manual. moved it to neutral and back to drive. it quick fixed it but yeah something isn't right.
Not a big deal but wanted to mention the issue I was having with my memory seat. No, this is not the issue that the M7s have as I have an A6. The easy exit was working fine but all of a sudden it stopped setting back to the #1 position when I started the car. In fact it would jerk a little to move but then stop. Finally figured out that I reset the exit memory to recline the seat a bit more. When you fully recline the seat it rubs a bit on the back console/side. I think this was being detected as something in the way and would stop the memory seat from returning to the appropriate position. Once I tilted the seat forward where I could no longer hear the rub and reset the exit position, everything is back to normal. SJ
I was having the same issue with mine (A6 Car) on the easy exit if the seat is all the way back, the memory recall would not work on #1 and occasionally on #2. What I did was push and release the exit button and after the seat was all the way back to exit, I manually moved the seat forward maybe 1/2"-1" and then programmed that exit spot in to the exit button and now the #1 and # 2 buttons are functioning properly.

I originaly had this DIC warning the first week of driving this car back in October. Would reset to normal after shut down. Dealer checked codes - checked and "topped off" differential fluid level - cleared code.
Now warning comes on at every start. Dealer checked and found "no communication to rear differential module". Dealer is ordering new module. Also, lost ability to access different "tract" modes. Dealer thinks it is an issue with the differential module that is being ordered.
Hope this fixes the problem for good.
Not hearing this is problem with other forum members!
First came on at 400m on build #3979 Called OnStar they scanned and found code P0480 (cooling fan relay) CEL went off before I got car into dealer. Service vette tech stated he found fan relay module not fully plugged in. CEL came on again last night at 620m, same codes. Temp went up to 240 at idle and air will not blow cold. Fan was not running.
When driving temp went down immediately. After several restarts the CEL went out and the fan is working. Taking car back to dealer ASAP
Help please

Picked up my Crystal Red, 2LT on Friday (June 6) from dealer. Almost didn't make it home, they didn't fill the gas tank, had to buy some gas to make sure I made it home. Tried filling it up with gas on Saturday, but the gas pump kept shutting off. Tried various angles and depth of nozzle entry but little success. Could only put 7 gallons in. Is there a specific method to fuel these cars?

Unlike some other cars where I have to set the flow on a low fill setting so it wouldn't trip, never have had a problem with the C7. In our area we do not have fume capture systems requiring the nozzle to be pushed down on the filler area.
Wonder if they did fill it up and your gas gauge is not reading correctly?

Possible, gauge is malfunctioning. I'll have dealer check.
I picked up my convertible from the museum on 5/28. The very next day when my wife opened the passenger door I heard a POP. I remember thinking that doesn't sound good but wasn't sure what happened.
Later that day while going over the car I observed a area of paint chipped out at the edge of the door at the front panel. I noticed that the lines of the car between the door and the front panel were off noticeably and the door panel sticks out further than the quarter panel. When I opened the door the 2 drug across each other causing the popping noise I heard before.
My dealership was able to improve on the alignment of the panel somewhat but it's still out of alignment. I have been told that the door will need to be repainted.
The dealership is not sure how to get the panels to line up correctly. They have contacted GM and I have made contact with Chevy customer service 5 days ago and still no answer. I did the buyers tour along with the photo album and museum delivery and feel disappointment for not being gotten back to sooner especially since this happened the day after I got the car.
I feel that a new door panel and a quality assurance person to make sure it's corrected is fair since the dealership is only about 120 miles from Bowling Green. Any suggestions on how to move this process along ?
I had the same issue. The problem wasn't the door, but the fender. One of the pop-in fasteners on the fender was broken and causing the misalignment. My dealer ordered a new painted fender from the factory. They installed it a couple weeks ago. All is perfect. The color is a match (LB), the gaps are now the same as the driver's side door/fender, and they even replaced the Xpel on the new fender. Good luck with yours!
5000 miles and have a few questions.
1. Have a repetitive and quick vibration that seems to be coming through the drive line. It lasts for about one second, stops for one second and keeps repeating. I notice it at highway speeds and only on good pavement so bumps don't overpower this vibration. I have had the tires rebalanced but needed almost no adjustment to weights and with no improvement.
2. I'm not sure if this second issue is related to #1? Now I'm getting an occasional weird and loud sound coming from under the car that sounds like a metal shield that is loose and vibrating. This is an intermittent occurrence.
3. Lastly, there are vibration sounds that come from the rear window trim or speaker panels. These are worse on certain roads and with music that may have a little more base. Any suggestions with eliminating these?
I am going to set up an appointment with my dealer this week but find it helpful to have suggestions from anyone that may have experienced similar problems. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also, I have a couple minor issues but have found comments in this thread. Thanks

Maybe this is a do it yourself project and I don't need to get the dealer involved for this one? I will look today and see. They need to redo the leather console covering as I have a bump in it. I keep thinking that is something they will really mess up.

In NJ Gm gives the dealers $60 to fill up the car.The dealer I had did not want anyone to drive my car, so they followed me to the gas station and gave me $60 to fill it up. Took the whole $60. I think a gallon was selling for $3.89
This recurring issue with passenger door and front fender is now 7 months old. Why can't they resolve the issue on the line?
Real shame that folks like me and a good deal of others have to chip paint, opening the passenger door for the first time on a Brand New State of the art C7?

Hey Jerilyn10,
I’m sorry to hear that your Infotainment Screen is not working as desired, but I would be happy to look into this further for you. Please PM us your full VIN, contact information, and the dealership name/location. I will keep an eye out for your response. Thank you!
Loud repetitive banging noise from rear when in V4 ECO mode
My C7 Z51 has developed a loud repetitive banging noise coming from behind the passenger compartment when in ECO mode the engine transitions to V4 mode. You can hear it even better when putting the windows down. When it transitions out of V4 mode into V8 mode, banging persists for a short while and then stops. When it goes back into V4 mode, banging about every second like a clock starts again. I can no longer drive my car in V4 mode. I have even had it persist for quite a while when it came out of V4 mode. What is this issue caused by and what is the fix?
My passenger door never closes well, unless you slam it. Any chance the dealer will be able to fix it with humping it up?
I had the same issue. I took it to the dealer last week and work order said they re-indexed the window so it opens and closes at the right time when you open and close the door. Problem fixed.

I had the exact same experience on the 5th. Left mine at the dealer the next day. Hoping that it is a simple fix since I felt foolish not being able to pump fuel into it.
Update:
With use the issue with fueling seems to have been resolved. Fillup completed without incident..
