** C7 Reported issues and resolutions thread **
A vibration is evident at 1900 RPM in the body and prominent in the shifter. Occurs in various gears when accelerating, decelerating, steady RPM and in neutral.
Anyone experience this?

The noise occurred for me when in V4 at those rpm's.
BTW-Congrats on your new C7! Was just on Maui and didn't see any C7's.
The day I dropped the car off for repairs, I placed a deposit on a white 3LT for my eldest son. After reading 90 pages of this thread, we'll do a better job of PDI but am not discouraged. These are the Vettes I've been waiting for....the ones I couldn't resist.
I'm a little disappointed in this development and it's continued re-occurrence but have to admit, for some strange reason, I'm not PO'd in the least about it especially after seeing how aggressively the dealership is tackling the problem. I was somewhat concerned about the issue but they were floored by it and had a staff meeting in the parking lot around my car. The car is stunning (so far) in every other respect. I did manage to put 2k miles on it over the holiday weekend and look forward to putting more on it.
Parallel to all this, I recently bought a Morgan 3 Wheeler that had numerous and well documented problems as shipped (information I discovered after delivery)...I am yet to get any relief on any of the numerous problems, big or small, with that car and am having to repair it on my on significant dime and doing my own wrenching which I am less than enchanted about. Therefore, I find it very refreshing to see how the dealership and ultimately, Chevy is dealing with the C7 issue.
Pricing for the M3W is comparable to a base model C7... it's rude & crude which I anticipated (and wanted) but unfortunately, it doesn't perform as anticipated. It's not that it won't hold up to a serious flogging...it won't hold up to propelling itself in grandma fashion. It comes complete with major problems before the first mile is put on it and bump steer like you've never seen on any production vehicle in the world. It couldn't be any worse if it had been manufactured in Nigeria. This two seater is the extreme polar opposite of the highly refined C7 and so is it's warranty. Morgan let's their customers do their R&D although there is obviously money figured into the MSRP.

I guess the moral of the story is that any issues with the C7 is annoying and inconvenient...but there is comfort in knowing that help is on the way. When you have a problem with a Morgan...you really have a problem...and you are left in the dark, in the cold and bleeding from your rear-end. The Morgan company has set such low re-imbursements for the US dealership that they don't want to touch a warranty claim as it is a money losing proposition to them. No one on the Morgan forum from Morgan is begging you to PM them with your problems so that they can help you get them resolved...they are too deep in denial, CYA and sweeping you under the rug.
I will gladly accept a little inconvenience on a car that I know all involved are eager to get my issues resolved and me back on the road regardless of the sticker price. No buyer's remorse here. None what so ever.
Cheers,
Z
I love the car otherwise but not a fan of buying a brand new car and having a factory issue cause a chip in my door of my brand new $55k plus car.
C'mon Bowling Green fix the damn issue!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
I just did a 2000 round trip drive to Canada. Overall the car worked well, but I did notice some things that bothered me. In 7th gear (touring mode) doing above 65 when I putting it under additional load, I got this feeling that the car was missing, no codes, pulled away fine, just did not seem to feel right. I did have a run for about 60 miles at between 95 MPH and 105 and except for this miss/lugging feel issue everything was great. Also I noticed that the console door is not really that counter balanced and once it gets past the opened locked position, it just slams shut. I don’t recall this happening in my C6.
Also I’m not a big fan of the econ mode, not sure it really buys much unless you are driving on the salt flats. It’s kind of annoying when it kicks in and out and I can feel and hear the difference.
Anyone else noticing these things?

This was an assembly defect that should have been caught before the vehicle left the factory, in my view. The problem in fixing it was finding the right Torx driver in a friends' neighbors' tool box. To remove the rear Torx screw securing the plastic shield over the coil pack, I had to remove the front fuse "carrier" to get at that screw using the tool I had at hand.

Just looked, not the easiest thing to get at, but it looks secure.
Thanks Jim
This is a lot easier than taking the car in to a dealer to find out what the problem is. This may very well be an issue that will require a visit to your dealer, though.

We go back tomorrow to pick up our new car !
