So I'm taking my c7 in tomorrow as the brakes squeal at low speeds when barely applying the brakes (15mph-0) I thought maybe brake dust or new brakes but this sounds like a bus. And worst it doesn't do it every single time so gonna have to recreate it for the dealer. Does it 8/10 times tho so shouldn't b a problem. Read around that it's common with ceramic brakes but def not acceptable on a 70k car. Will keep updated on solutions. Wish me luck!
2014 vin#53 Premium Edition When in reverse and the camera is on, I can read a good portion of my license number. Both I and the dealer have looked for a adjustment, no joy. Am wondering if we are incorrect?
The dealer service Department researched the issue - passenger door rubbing front fender, as reported by others and experienced on my car. They found an information bulletin # PI1220 issued by Chevy for this issue. The master tech said he had to realign the front fender to meet the desired door gap spec. He said my door gap, where rubbing was occurring, was just 2mm. This is below manufacturer specification.
Dealer was very attentive and diligent and put their best guy on the work. All appears good after getting the car back.

In this case the rubbing has caused a paint chip where door is rubbing against inside fender. Love the car but this is rather unacceptable since others have been pointing this problem out for months. My car was built on about March 24. Other posts have same issue dating back to last fall and earlier this year.
C'mon Bowling Green get that guy/gal on the passenger side "QA" relieved of his/her duties- not good to be chipping brand new doors from factory misalignments!
Wish I read prior posts before my son noticed the issue on the passenger side door...and chipped.
Hope dealer can rectify gap issue and not cause bigger snafu...

Check the gap across the front of the hood at the front bumper. If they shifted the passenger side fender forward they may have made this gap wider on the passenger side of the bumper compared to the driver side.
I had this happen to me. It gets very complicated trying to get the gaps correct. If the hood to bumper gap is not equal across the front then the drivers side fender must be moved forward also, just to even the hood/bumper gap. Then the door may need to be adjusted as well. It goes on & on, panel by panel until you reach the rear bumper. If you don't have even gaps by that point then the frame is sprung, and you start shaving material from the door, or fender edge to even up the gaps. Oh ya this will then require repainting panels.
They may have just swapped one bad gap for different one somewhere else. Just your typical Magicians miss direction trick.
Leaving as is...but do believe the hood to fender gap widened on passenger side. Robbing Peter to pay Paul, to resolve bigger issue of door rubbing front fender. Shame Bowling Green is allowing cars out with this misalignment on the passenger door, in the first place?

You're right in taking that course if it isn't too noticeable. Probably only you will ever know.
Z51 Vin Number 24161 Build date 5/1/2015 Crystal Red Metallic, Chrome wheels. 143 Miles
Paint looks fine, not OP that I can see. Small pit mark on one of the chrome wheels.
My passenger side door does not close easily. Same with the back hatch.
I seem to be missing some type of tool that goes in the top of the battery cover, as there is an indent, but nothing in it. Anyone know what goes in the indent?
My 3LT leather dashboard has a bump on the passenger side on the curve. The passenger and driver side seat backs have a scrap and or what looks like some type of paint mark.
There were some oil droppings next to the area of the oil fill area. Wondering if I should go thru the hassle of seeing if there is oil in the mass air sensor area as i don't know if this may have been an over fill issue.
The dealer lost the transport bag the car comes with, so I’m assuming they did not really look at check list as part of the delivery process.

Not only don't you get the hook, if you look at a car with the rear bumper off (there are some pics on the forum) you'll see behind the area of the bumper that would be removed to access the threaded female nut, there is nothing to connect it to! Assume they saved a welded nut.
If it was put on US models doubt tow truck operators would know how to use it. Apparently some use it in Europe.
seemed to work in the paddock but when used on the track it was whacko. Sometimes lap time would register twenty seconds late and the next lap would be 20 seconds short and sometimes times were just totally off the wall. Z51 3LT delivered April 7 2014. Software?
One minor problem. VIN 2039, 497 miles, 3LT, Z51, MSRC, NPP. Twice at night the backup camera did not come on and the screen went gray static looking. The first time, I tried the menu bottom and the screen went out, then I restarted the car and everything was fine. The second time, after it went gray, I waited for about 50-60 seconds and everything worked fine without a restart. Currently I feel no need to take the car in and will wait and see if this happens again (and I'll take picture). In fact, I am not even sure if this is worth posting about.
I had this happen too.
My problem was that the screen was not all the way in the "up" position, which is necessary for the backup camera to come on.
Cycling the screen down a little then up tight solved the problem.
I would like to know how to turn on the backup camera when I am driving forward. Reason - I think it would show a vehicle in the passenger blind spot. I have discovered that a small car can hide there and even if I turn and look I cannot see it.
This was when I had a 3k miles on my car drove around the car all morning running errands pulled into a parking garage A/C turned off and engine overheat sign came up. Immediately parked and saw it had dumped lot of fluid got it towed to the dealer who topped the coolant off and tried to trace the leak, after 5 days no leak was found no repairs were necessary been 3 weeks since no issues.
