Hatch is a bitch to close. It usually take 2-3 tries. You have to really slam it when the windows are closed. With windows open, no problem.
Actually, it's easy to close without slamming it down. Lower
The hatch until it stops above the latch, with your palm
Of your hand in the center of the hatch push down with little force and bingo, closed. No slamming or trying to smash the hatch down. Works like a charm with the windows up and doors closed.
Regardless if its been discussed or not MoabC7.. It doesn't sound anywhere near as mild as they talk about in the manual It sounds as if your front end is about to fall off. You pay 70k for a car and the sheer thought of making a tight turn at low speeds, makes you cringe.. is not what I had imagined before I bought mine.
Its doing it on mine anywhere from a half turn to full turn less than 5mph. There is no way this is normal. It seriously makes you second guess your purchase. I love my C7 and will get to the bottom of this noise. Taking it in to my Dealership Monday and wont be leaving til I get some kind of answer..
went to the mitch. winter tire and it stoped ............for now anyway.
I wanted to see how I could charge my battery using my battery charger and not the one provided by GM. The required effort to access the Battery and Rear Fuse Panel is unbelievable! The side panels must be removed before gaining access to these areas, because they are covered by the carpet that has a ridged base! If you don't have the appropriate tools and you are on the road, access is just about impossible without destroying the rear carpet module. Someone at GM needs to come up with a mod to correct this issue, and allows easy access to these important areas.

Not necessary to remove panels to access the battery or fuse box.
I lifted the carpet from the rear near battery and just pulled it out from under the panels, when I was done I just slide it under the panel.
The HUD only sometimes displays the song/artist on the windshield. Most of the time it says "device Bluetooth". It does it in all modes 85% of the time. The only way to make it work 100% has been to re-pair my iPhone 5s and/or iPad mini. I've tried restarting the car multiple times, changing modes or the driver select ****, changing the info on the HUD to no avail. I've tried moving the iPhone around inside the car, still doesn't work. On the few times I have gotten it to work, it works up until I shut the car off. After a restart it no longer works. I always use sport mode BTW.
Anyone else have this problem?

Interesting that you were able to get to your battery and fuse panel by sliding the carpet, because the storage area has clips that keep me from sliding the carpet anywhere and even pulling the clips loose I can't slide mine out!

I had a piece of clear bra about 8" wide added to the center/rear of the hatch to protect the paint when closing it.

Please describe the proper way to remove the panel. Thanks.

I should have been more clear on what I did.
I lifted the carpet from the rear between the battery and fuse box, then I pulled the carpet out from under the right side plastic cover. I then just folded the carpet towards the left side which gave me access to the battery and fuse box. I did not pull out the entire carpet. Sorry for the confusion.
VIN 1631 with 2800 miles and just beginning to experience a door rattle only on the passenger side.
Thought it was something my wife might have possibly left in the door storage area, although nothing there.
I am hearing it only going across bumps for now and seems as though it might be close to the speaker area.
I believe I saw something a week or so ago, although having trouble locating it now (on this thread).
Is anyone experiencing something similar??
A friend said to me last night...WOW 7 weeks old and almost 3,000 miles. My reply was, yeah I can't believe as much fun I am having I actually park the baby

I don't know if this is what you're hearing but I noticed a similar rattle which turned out to be the seat belt buckle hitting against the b-pillar. I pulled the lower part of the seat belt housing forward, in front of the seat back, and the rattle stopped.

Thank you.
Worth a try when I get out of the office today
FYI everyone, My dealer told me this is a known issue, and it's a easy fix. Only the first 3-4 thousand corvettes were effected by it. Should have it back shortly, and will repost if i'm still having issues.
It was fixed! took them about 3-4 hours, but on my GOODNESS does it sound better. I had the tech watch me turn the radio all the way up with full bass, and it sounded perfect inside and out on the driver and passenger doors.
From my understanding it's the frame that holds the power window in place had a adhesive that didn't cure correctly which allowed the frame to vibrate against the fiber glass body.
The tech was told by GM to remove the old stuff, and use dumb-dumb in its place. The 1LT stereo system is F'n awesome now. Def sounds better than the base or bose C6 setup.

That's excellent! Thanks for the reply also. Did your service tech have a bulletin on this, or did they have to contact GM directly to get information on how to address this issue?
I did not readily find an answer to this question on this post section but has anyone found that the lowest A/C fan speed is still a little faster than desired? I find that by turning the fan speed control to the left when i feel the air speed is too much, that the system just then turns the fan off as it was blowing at its lowest setting anyway. However, this "lowest setting" is still too high for my tastes. My C6 seemed to have a nice slower but steady lowest setting fan speed when the A/C was on. Does anyone have any suggestions how to get the fan to turn at a lower RPM but still move air into the car's inside when the A/C is on (yeah here in Florida it is still nice and warm)?
