Default Radio ( media) setting

Has anyone found out how to fix the media radio setting when you press the off button the counter on the song is still running?
How to correct it?

Change to 'radio' to include XM and the your 'media' will stop going through the tracks. A flash-drive will still flash, but the next time you hit media it will still be on the same song. If you just push the off button, it will as you said still be going through the tracks.

The seat returns to the memory setting when you open the door.
Not ideal, but that's how it works.

Assume you have a manual shift. Have faced this since October. First set your Auto Recall to OFF! Then the seat will stay in the EXIT setting.
Then you can recall with one push of the button IF you can start the car before you push it (as long as you doesn't have it up against a max stop, put in 1/2 inch forward of max.) If like myslf, there is no way so-you’ll have to hold in the desired return button. That is the way it works. Learn to push the button with your left hand as you engage the seat belt! Awkward but saves time!
Sounds like the software guys were too busy with the 2015 to fix it, so we’ve been told “it’s working as designed”. Maybe when the 2015 works the way the C6 did there will be a fix for us!

This is a simple fix that I'm surprised GM can't work it out on the seat memory. One should not just accept the way it works now. If my C6 work fine then fix it...... They can't be that incompetent. Or can they? Just asking

I do not believe it is incompetence, I think they were too busy. Let’s see what they do with the 2015 since many of us have been reporting the issue since October! Many posts saying the same as you! If fixed for the 2015 perhaps they will offer an update for the 2014.

I have spoke with Customer service and PM with customer service. They will tell you that is working how they designed it and they do not plan to fix it.

Very poor design. Its really a simple programing fix.

Even worse customer service and concern as they will not make it right.

I think it's they plain just do not care. They know its wrong, they know its a bad design. And they Know it works correct in a 2014 Manual transmission ATS Caddy.

Really pisses me off a 70K car does not have memory seats that work right with a Manual.

This noise has increased over the last few weeks and took it in to the dealer today. The tech checked it out and it appears the bearings associate with the drive shaft have a problem. Being it's Friday they will not know the details till Monday, so I guess it's wait and see the final diagnosis. Service writer estimates it could be up to two weeks for repair???

I have searched and could not find any drive shaft issues.

I will update when I know the details.

As a side note, this car #170 was manufactured on 8/28 and spent time at Roush Industries, Lavonia MI, delivery to my dealer was 10/27- Still do not know what Roush performed.

UPDATE:

They have determined the driveshaft bearings are at fault, they have inspected the torque tube and no problems there. They received the front and back bearings today and will install them tomorrow, I will have them check for updates and have an oil change after the bearing job so should get the car back Mon or Tue next week. UPDATE TWO (Same Day) it appears they received the wrong bearings, GM has decided that the whole assembly will be replaced so a new drive shaft and torque tube assembly are being sent over night to my dealer (that's a better solution)
Major Problem 2 - A couple weeks ago the car stalled when warm and would not restart. After it cooled down at the dealers no problems were found. Car continued to be very hard starting when warm, took it to the dealer and it failed to start while the service writer was there. Fast forward 3 weeks later the car has been there and 1st and 2nd level GM support was called, Friday I was informed the problem was excessive ware on the thrust bearing, we are waiting GMs solution, I think I know what that will be.

Corvette C7 Coupe, 4 weeks old and son noticed passenger door is rubbing against front fender when opening- you can hear it. Small mark on edge of door. Contacted dealer and read several posts on Corvette sites...that have identified this same issue.

Hoping the GM Customer service reps can weigh in on this issue...

The dealer can easily fix it. At the forum one of the engineers from the factory corrected a very minor fitment issue on my drivers door by adjusting the Striker right in front of the museum. I call that some of the best customer service I've ever experienced .

Thanks, guessing the striker will not aid in the opening of the door issue? The door is rubbing when opening and not fully slipping inside the front fender. I would think the door will need adjusting on the hinge end, not the striker side?

Bringing to dealer tomorrow.

Carpet on footwell of passenger side upsweep is bubbling and not laying flush. Dealer says that's because the "modules" are behind the carpet so it can't be glued ... Must be accessible. Not sure it's supposed to bubble though. So how do I resolve this one? Velcro? Duct-tape?

My entire unit was replaced several weeks ago at the dealer and after I had some help from the CSRs monitoring this site. All is well now. When mine was in having the new infotainment unit installed, they let me know they were just informed they had a second C7 coming in for the same thing.

One day in and out...

I have reported earlier that my driver side window catches now and then when opening the door. Now I have stopped the car and shut if off, and I am not able to open the door with the electrical button so I had to do the lever on the floor 2 times so far. Also quite often I open the door, and it locks itself at the second position (not quite closed) and by pushing the door electrical button one more time I get out. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a loose contact or what can it be? Any advise or thoughts would be much appreciated as I believe the dealer will be as confused as I am.

I have a non-Z51 3LT manual transmission with performance exhaust. I have had the car for about 2 weeks with no issues on the inside at all. My only problem is either the gear box or the clutch. Going from 1st to 2nd is a bit jumpy and if I'm in any mode other than sport or track, I hear a rattling in the front right side of the car. Overall, the shifting isn't as smooth as I would have expected. I can feel a lot of grinding on the clutch when I'm shifting. This is my first car with a manual transmission so I would like to know if this is normal or if I should take the car into service. Any suggestions or ideas on what could be the problem?
