As an expat Brit I've got to applaud you at your attempt at typing in a British venacular. Whilst that might be how Brits talk in soap operas, it's not how we write, and your spelling and grammar slipped badly in later posts

P.S. I assume that as well as a Land Rover and Bentley you have met the Queen and hang out with David Beckham? Trolling moron

I really like Brit vernacular, especially the word whilst. That's my favorite and I use it all the time on this side of the pond. I've been following some of these threads initially for the technical info but now mostly for the entertainment, though I am sorry for you folks waiting for one of these devices. I really don't understand that if NavTool is a reputable business why they simply don't just give potential customers a realistic ship date instead of these rolling updates that have always proved false. My main takeaway is that NavTool is not so much Nav as purely a bunch of tools.

Default Guess what finally arrived

The elusive NavTool for the C7.

Not packaged very well. It was placed in a UPS pad pack and then in a UPS box. I guess I was expecting more professional packaging.

BTW.....there were no instructions

Thanks raylo

We are also pretty close to each other geographically - I am up in Towson in the Baltimore 'burbs. I sometimes work out of Gaithersburg and Bethesda (I am an IBMer)

I also have a Triumph motorcycle so I am exposed to the vernacular on the tiger800.co.uk forum. Once in a while when I don't understand something I have to request a clarification to the vernacular or cultural reference. Always interesting.

Yes, the big IBM campus just a quarter mile from Criswell Chevrolet is about 4 miles from my house. Kind of cool to be located near to one of the the largest Vette inventories in the nation. For years I would drive over many a Sunday just to see what they had w/o sales staff pestering me.

Or they hire that company in the old Saturday Night Live skit that takes the blame for late deliveries. They back date the packages then artificailly age them and beat them up with tire tracks, dirt, add fake misrouting location stamps, whatever then take the blame for the company that shipped the item late in the first place. It was a really funny skit... the company's tag line was "when it aboslutely, positively had to be there yesterday". LOL!

I was along for the ride on this because I really wanted it to work. It wasn't worth the "beer money saved" as posted in another thread to risk my credit card info or have something that doesn't work as advertised. I was going to wait until the dust settled and early adopters posted their reviews.

With all the B.S. with Navtool making up new users to post how great it is, along with all the other lies regarding delays makes me refuse to plug in a piece of anything manufactured by this company into my $70k car. What if it toasts your electronics? Think they will be there to help? Hell no.

Good luck to those that are sticking with it. I hope it all works out for you in the end.

Who wants to bet that even if some people receive the box (eventually) it will be empty because "oops, we forgot to enclose the product, but Sammy will get that shipped out to you right away"?

I'm hoping that, if nothing else, we have demonstrated that there is demand for this type of product. Hopefully SOME OUTFIT WITH THEIR STUFF TOGETHER will bring out a killer product with good service.

Nope.....not NavTool for sure. Others may have it in before me. Vette still in storage and I have other stuff I'm doing to it. It maybe a little bit before I get it in.
