Supersonic, how many miles do you have on the Z06? How does it compare to the GS you traded?

I've done pretty good with a lot less than 460 HP!

I am perfectly happy with my 16 Z51. If I lived for HP I wouldn't stop at the Z06. Think Callaway or Hennessey for real hp.

I still don't have it yet. I am going to pick it up Saturday afternoon. The dealer just received the MSO. I'll let you know how it compares.

Yeah, I remember my Dodge Stealth R/T TT had 300 HP, which was awesome... in 1991

I spent the day at a Chevrolet sponsored track days at Bristol Motor Speedway and Dragway. From my experience, 460 HP is plenty.

I mean, save yourself the crushing trade in on your brand new GS and buy a supercharger. Or go headers, exhaust, intake, tune, some other motor work and you'll be mid 500hp easily.

My first car was a chevy cavalier. Then moved to a V6 1998 camaro. Then a 1999 Trans Am WS6. Right now I have a 2008 G8 GT that's modded and just over 400HP but weighs 4,000lbs. I'm picking up my 2014 C7 Z51 on Saturday, that's 460HP and 3400ish lbs. Gradually working my way up the HP tree lol. Eventually I'll get the C7 over 500hp.

If you really want 600+HP, slap a SC on it and save the money you would lose on trade in. A Dodge Demon, sure it's absurd HP, but WTF are you honestly going to do with it? If you plan on tracking the car every weekend, perfect. But if you are driving it to work, sitting in traffic, getting groceries, you don't need that insane HP. The current C7 will beat 99.9% of the cars you see everyday on the road. Not many 500+HP cars rolling around, at least none that I see daily.
